Where's Joe Elliott? (1 Viewer)

Mr Coventry City seems to have gone a bit quiet all of a sudden! A few weeks ago you couldn't turn a radio station on without hearing an interview with him!

The guys position has been comprimised and if he did come out again now people would be saying put up or shut up as they have to GH. I'm sure like most of us he remains a passionate fan and wants on pitch success, so I don't understand why we should turn on him.

I'm still inclined to believe their side of the story over the board's and I hope a future offer is forthcoming.

Are we supposed to be suddenly behind SISU for releasing the bare minimum that AT could work with? It would have been not only football but financial suicide to do any less than they achieved yesterday and I only hope that we can get som momentum going whilst a takeover quietly happens in the background.

Exactly right. If he was back on the radio then everyone on here would be telling him to put up or shut up. The guy can't win!

What do you want him to come out and say? That there is still a possibility of a takeover in the very near future? He'd be accused then of empty promises. Right and proper now that both Hoffman and Elliot keep a low profile. If they come back with investors with another offer then we should hear about it when it happens.

i think it's also become clear that SISU would want to work with investors and not sell to them which isn't what Hoffman and Elliot want - i think the next we'll hear from both is if we go into admin which doesn't look as imminent now

He's in a corner somewhere dusting himself down and thinking what might have been, having followed a little naively various investors promises (including the original SISU take over) and simply tarnished his own fine reputation in the process. Our Joe will take his time and watch from the sidelines I suspect and offer his help wherever he can if asked. Unfortunately that won't becoming from SISU will it?
It remains to be seen if Hoffman and his band of merry investors come back with any sort of proposal in the light of SISU's stance today.
