Where have all the goals gone ? (5 Viewers)

Just a concern that from scoring freely in the opening 6 or 7 games ... anyone else wondering why with the same front end and with the exception of Carl Baker, same midfield, we appear to be having a little mini goal drought ... any thoughts as to why ? On the plus side, not shipping so many now I guess ! ;o)

from what I've heard Leon could have had a double hat-trick in all the games so far. Chances are being created, wouldn't be too worried pal.

very rarely to do teams score 3-4 goals a game all season long.

Still creating chances and have failed to score only once in the league this season.

They have kept 3 clean sheets which extrapolated over the season would be 17 - against only 9 last season.

Due to our likelihood to score, we're more likely to turn a clean sheet into a win as well.

It's all bollocks though really isn't it?

Just look at what happened at Vale, they played us at our own game and went on the front foot second half. This killed our attacking game completely,as we spent most of the second half defending, which it turns out were really shit at.

I thought we took our foot off the gas. We got into some good positions second half but the final ball was poor.

I thought we took our foot off the gas. We got into some good positions second half but the final ball was poor.

It was similar at Stevenage. Second half did not match the first at all although we still created the best chances. The chances are there, they seem to have lost their clinical finishing, perhaps thats a sign of being too desperate to score now that the goals are not coming as they did earlier. There is still along way to go so I am looking forward to when they start flowing again (not at Sixfields though - they can have their "1-0 to the City song").

well he seems really passionate bout getting top scorers award so i would imagine live tv game will motivate him too.
