Where are we going? -what direction are we taking? if we stay up brilliant, but it looks to us like most of the team will disappear and possibly the manager in the summer - Myself and 5 friends are not re-newing season tickets under these circumstances -

We want to see an immediate settled ground to play in and a deal done with wasps for our long term future as we want the team playing in Coventry at the Ricoh - A settled long term manager with a decent budget to start looking at promotion for a city the size we are and club with the history we have

Not interested in the court cases or who is to blame - voting with our feet, if nothing changes we are changing, and not attending any-more and not wasting our money home or away

We are on the way up if we can keep Mowbray. And not having many players under contract makes it easier for him to choose his own players.

If relegation is avoided I have no doubt that Mowbray will stay and will aim to gain promotion next year with a rejuvenated squad. The fact that the contracted squad is small after the summer offers him the opportunity to create his own team. I don't think it will be a problem to get talented players at home in this league - it is a matter of spotting them, and blending them correctly - which Mowbray looks to be doing at the moment even with essentially the players he inherited.
As for the ground; well, we just have to wait. I think we will stay at the Ricoh.

If you want that then go buy the club, has the club always delivered what you want, it's all me me me with you.

If we get Mowbray and he has a budget and signs the players but we still play at the Ricoh without any further commitment on ground or contract at the Ricoh are you really saying you wouldn't renew?

I think first and foremost , The club should look to tie up mowbray on a 1-2 season deal, After this im guessing mark venus will join as his number 2 .
On that basis alone i feel alot of people will renew , We dont have much control over the politics , i just want to go to the ricoh and watch a good footballing side , i think thats what most supporters want really .
im hopeful that given the freedom with the budget and with TMs contacts throughout the game , he will see that coventry fans get to watch a good side next season .

I think Tony Mowbray's going to be an easy target when/if (?) we are struggling (as he has a demeanour that would keep the samaritans occupied full time and a face only his mother could love), but if he can turn us around we'll forgive him all that and he could become a bit of a cult hero. Let's hope it's the latter!

stay up
mowbrays signs long term contract
scouting system implementation
let contracts expire of those he dont want to keep, bring in LOTS of players that fit his system
play attacking football
increase crowds
gain promotion
build squad for championship
play good football
even bigger crowds
get promoted to prem
build squad for prem
play good football
sell out crowds every week
stay up
improve on squad
play good football
qualify for europa and stay up
use money from europe to improve squad further
play good football
win europa league(and thus qualify for champions league)
use CL money to buy world class marquee names
play good football
win champions league
build mowbray statue

THATS WHERE WE ARE GOING BUDDY

If we go down, which is still a distinct possibility, SISU may throw in the towel and Mowbray leave. If we stay up. Mowbray will try to negotiate a better deal and could stay or leave but regardless the financial restrictions will stay in place and we will cash in on any saleable assets just as in past seasons.

He has a bit of a chin too, a bit like a previous Messiah

TM was brought in to keep us up first and foremost,,, from that base Sisu have more options to them in regards what direction they decide to take in the summer.. If TM stays you know Sisu have given him a decent contract, his staff and the ability to bring in players.. If he goes you know the contract wasn't good enough, his staff are not affordable and the budget will be cut and 1st year pros will make up the side...

Whatever way it ends Sisu will do well to keep TM at the helm he will be a man in demand, a free agent and somebody that is level above L1, with experience to match. I for one think this summer will be indication of how far Sisu are prepared to float this sinking ship..

Getting very frustrated with the non commitment to staying at the Ricoh and yes need some definite plans announced about our future before committing

If Mowbray steers us into 12th or 10th area, He will rightly look for better than he could have when he joined. SISU will not pay his worth and we could be back where we started.
