when will it end (5 Viewers)

Maybe if Wasps weren't playing their games it would have been sorted sooner?

Still, it's a good way to get everybody worked up at CCFC ;)

Not a ticket sold and June tomorrow.

How often are we told that ST money is vital to provide the manager funds for summer recruitment?

How many MR player deals are hanging on where we play next season and what salary we can afford?

MR must be pissed off as we are.

It's an absolute shambles and a disgrace.

If it is one year we need to start putting pressure on to sort out something more long term straight away, we can't keep going through this.
If we end up at Blues then I fear for our future.

Yes but you are making out CCFC can just click their fingers and a deal is done.

It’s been 6 weeks Nick.

Surely by now it’s either a straight deal or no deal.

That's what they have said, there is a deal in place for a groundshare but their priority is to play at the Ricoh.

A groundshare was agreed quick enough, the Ricoh talks have Wasps going back and forth saying they will talk and they won't (which they have also done in the past).

I'm not going to get worked up at CCFC for Wasps moving the goalposts every time it's nearly done. Just keep the money in accounts, when they are released get one then.

i think both sides are guilty on ccfc side the "were going to build our own stadium" line is nonsense on the wasps side they are hoping a more friendly takeover is just around the corner this clouds both sides

That's the thing, people don't really seem that fussed that Wasps would try and pretend it's about legals to get everybody angry at SISU while trying their best to distress CCFC which will probably backfire again.

One of the reasons it's pointless shouting at the CCFC Twitter bloke every day and I am just keeping the money in the bank until ST's are announced to get one then. Pretty sure Robins will know that as well.

Yes they could do that. They could go with the deal that has already been arranged and say forget the Ricoh we're going to Birmingham. Would people prefer that or would they prefer the club to keep trying with Wasps so we can stay at the Ricoh?
If they did that it would be 'Surely they could have continued negotiations!' or 'Can't believe they messed the deal up!' with no mention of what Wasps were asking for. That's the go to on Social Media. At this moment in time and on this topic specifically, if someone was selling SISU a £10 note for £20, it would be SISUs fault for not just stumping up the cash.

Yes but what damage is being done to our summer recruitment without funds? Risking MR walking.

Do you think CCFC are choosing for that or Wasps?

Should CCFC just give up Ricoh talks now and confirm Birmingham or keep trying?

I'm sure we all want it done but at least it doesn't seem to stop us signing players. The loudest moaners won't be worrying about their season tickets anyway.

i am not that worried about recruitment as all players are paid till end of june by current clubs so our budget in short term not affected after end of june when transfer fees will come more into play it may be

I’m getting frustrated because I don’t know where I’m watching football next season.

Neither do I? However I also understand that CCFC aren't doing it through choice.

At least I know I will be watching football at least next season which is a bit better than a few weeks ago.

If we don't get the outcome we all desire, I'd love for both sides to put all the negation details out to which we're currently not party to due to confidentiality clauses. If they get it done I don't care, but if they don't I want to know what ridiculous claims and counter claims were being presented by each party that prevented it. It shouldn't be hard to resolve so imo either SISU must be being unrealistic or Wasps are being plain bloody awkward - or both!

Thing with that is, we already know a 2 year deal was "agreed" until Wasps "pulled out" after Gilbert suddenly seemed to unleash the revelation nobody at all knew.

When the appeal a little while back was rejected and they all announced they were finally in talks I was sure that they just needed some signatures and it'd be sorted before the game that week. I was full of optimism and youth back then

It's frustrating but it's out of CCFC's hands unfortunately, and it's Wasps who are moving the goalposts. If the club didn't care about it's fanbase they already would've announced St. Andrews. Try and at least be understanding that they're doing their best to sort a deal. Just put the money aside until a deal is announced, hopefully it'll be sorted soon enough.

Do you really think they haven't confirmed St.Andrews out of concerns for the fans?
There's not one party involved in this who gives a fuck about the fans.

Guess they haven't confirmed it because their first option is the Ricoh so are trying to do a deal there? Once that's exhausted and a confirmed no go, they will confirm St Andrews which is the backup.

We definitely need a resolution and are all frustrated but it's enough of a worry thinking about this without letting it lead you down a path of 'we wont sign players' - 'MR will leave' - 'Sky Blue Sam is a junkie' - Orange Ken is back' etc.
