When will people say enough is enough?

When will everyone unite together to help get rid of the cancer that's eating our club away?

Our club is dying, will a new season ticket change it? supporting the lads will cure this rot?

I don't know any other clubs fans in this entire football league who stands by and takes this kind of shit.

What I do know is this, we are Coventry City football club, the fans!! We are the ones who have made this club, we are the soul of it, it's down to us to rescue it yet again, but this time it's different, we have to fight against our owners.

So many clever fans on this forum, also some negative, but one thing is for sure, you love CCFC.

Cure CCFC, put them minds together and sort this shit once and for all...

How?

Fuck knows!

Something needs to be done, what? I'm sure a few on here have better suggestions than my ramble...

Who's with me?

What did all those other fans who are better than us do? What did the Wimbledon fans do?

I think the reason you aren't seeing more Pressley or SISU out protests is just the simple matter of people being ground down. It's not like it's a few years downturn after years of success, we've been going downhill for decades.

With SISU in charge people feel there is little they can do to get them out as it appears they just don't care what happens to the club on or off the pitch. Even if we could get rid of SISU what could anyone else do now the ground has been sold to Wasps? They aren't going to hand over all the revenue we generate and without it we won't be able to compete. People can't see any way out no matter who the manager or owner us. Sure if we got rid of Pressley we might avoid relegation this year thanks to new manager syndrome but then what? Same with SISU, if they go we might see a slight increase in crowds but what can any new owner do without the revenues ground ownership brings.

The future is very very bleak. As a football fan you need hope, we have none.

also we know it makes no difference what so ever.

SISU aren't leaving, Pressley is on a 4 year deal.

Voting with our feet is all we have.

Be honest mate, our protests are half hearted and if a SISU OUT chant starts in the crowd, not many sing it. And what Cheifdave said is the reason why, we've been ground down to nothing.

It doesn't take much effort to out do City fans nowadays.

Yet that thread which asked people if they'd renew proved that some people actually don't care about the situation which we're in, it's frightening how any people actually don't give a toss.

Well suggest something then! Don't just say that 'something' needs to be done. If you are calling for action, what action? I'm all ears.

We have, no doubt on here without giving pointless names, people who will attend, pay money, no matter what situation we're in.
They'll never be a better united together fan opportunity, for us all to sing off the same hymn sheet, than what we'll have come what May.

It's either renew and ignore the longterm prospects of CCFC, or it's protest as a whole and as you say, foot with your feet.

We both know the likelihood of what will happen.

Just want to point out that I have two boys, this year they're 6 and 4. As a now 31 year old git, I need to start thinking of my boys too, do I want them to suffer like I have? Of course not... do they have a choice though? Of course not.. it's hereditary.

Anyone who was born in the 80's will know that we had good times in the 90's, even under the ownership of the evil Bryan Richardson ..

What have our kids got under this ownership?

Scott Dann and Danny Fox and that's fucking it.

cut in budget, reduction in crowds, poorer team on the pitch, cut in budget, reduction in crowd.....

and so it continues

They set their own club up, won 5 promotions to the FL and it's possible they could be in a higher league than CCFC next season.

There's a real risk IMO that SISU will try again to franchise you (permanently next time). Maybe the fans need to buy the club? Or prepare to re-start AFC CC in the future?

In the meantime, don't give your money to MK Dons, Wasps etc.

We are Coventry City fans.

We have service station plastic sporks and those little pocket wind-up torches, so the best we can come up with is to sit down en masse and eat little salad pots while shining a bit of light into the cupboard under the stairs.

I don't believe there is a lot we can do it at the moment the owners don't listen or care about anything the real fans say and seem to be only able to hear the things idiots like that Chambers come up with. The first chance we have to something about it is the summer when it comes to season ticket time.

But what did they do before it got to that point? Were they rioting in the streets and storming the owners office? No, they were moaning and losing interest, just like us. We are no worse than any other fans but if we were it would only be because we've more shit, disappointment and failure than any other fans.

I am one of the old wimbledon fc fans from the 80's onwards, i'm not alone in those who have chosen to follow mk dons, there are wimbledon exiles from sheffild, hudderfield etc that will be at the ricoh on sat cheering our team on to what we hope will be another 3pts towards promotion! I have many mates up here who support coventry, some will be at the game on sat, some won't, i don't know all the ins and outs of whats gone wrong here, and to be fare it's got nothing to do with me, but people need to mind their own business of what has and hasn't gone on with mk/wimbledon!!

The lad you got on loan from Reading looks decent, got a couple of decent goals yesterday, always thought Fleck is a decent player.

Football franchising is the business of all of us, if anyone should be minding their own its you, is there no MK site you could post on with all the other sell outs?

And that gives you the right to spout bollox on here?

A good mate of mine was a Wimbledon supporter. And he still is a Wimbledon supporter. I occasionally go with him to Wimbledon games. MK is not his club. Never has been his club. Never will be his club. A few of his mates tried watching MK. But they could never see it as their club. It died the day it was taken away from them. Yet you go on about franchising whilst supporting it.
