Train from London to Toronto $69 each way (£40)
Toronto to Birmingham Intl $1,600 return (£875)
Birmingham to Cov £11 return
Taxi to Ricoh £8 each way
Ticket to game £22
Programme £4
Pie £4.50

Total £972.50 per home game x 26 home games =£25,285 per season

Well that would be how much I WOULD spend if I went to every game. Unfortunately, I have NEVER seen the City play at the Ricoh. Was at Sixfields for the Gillingham match last year....the one before that was the Chelsea game in the Prem in 2001 (i think it was....Huckerby and Dublin scored for City)

I spend my Saturday mornings (10 am for us on a 3pm KO) watching the ticker tape that calls itself BBC sport. Now that's a PAINFUL way to support the City. Every 3 minutes they report "corner to Coventry City"....."foul by XXX of Coventry City"......." shot by YYY of Coventry City, missed". Yet I'm still glued to this damn site to see how the City get on. Unfortunately, it's in the blood isn't it? Once a City fan....always a City fan (60 years a fan this August) Sigh!

This has turned into a fecking competition ! I reckon it costs me about £45 a game if I include ticket, a few beers and £5 petrol and maybe a Pie. That's still over a grand per season plus away games ! Used to be double when I brought the wife and kids !

Lived in Ottawa for a while. That was our PL days and as they showed 3pm live matches and all the 'big' games got moved for Sky we were on fairly regularly, certainly more than we were ever on TV at home.

got season ticket so 30 quid a game. walk down the boozer then get minibus from there for a quid.

My brother and family live in Ottawa.....nice place!. You're right in that CBC and CTV carry all the live games from the Prem every Saturday, but I gave up traditional tv about 2 years ago and prefer to get all my games from the internet. A lot cheaper! especially as I don't watch that much tv anymore.....too many repeats and crap that covers for 'entertainment' these days. It was really good when City were in the Prem as I saw them most weeks.....since then though....rarely.

Senior season ticket holder 2 pints in the buffs before the game and roughly 6 pints after in the gas, wheatsheaf and the royal on the way home plus blackout card and batch

Instead of BBC try "The Wall" I log in through "Newsnow Coventry City" It is right up to date and not quite as repetitive. Although there is a lot of "Corner to City, Ward goes over to take it, comes in, Cleared"

When I could get to games it was usually £30+ for the train ticket. £20-£25 for the taxi to/from the station (if close to kick off) unless sharing the cab*. Or about £3 for plus bus ticket if I was early enough. Had sandwiches on the train to eat for lunch. Used to average about £15-£20 a game in the club shop. Plus the cost of the ticket.

*Shared a cab with an away supporter who said he easily spent £400 a game as he lived in Sweden and went to as many games as he could. As we got to the Ricoh he said he'd pick up the tab for the cab and when I said I wouldn't feel right about it he said not to worry he was minted!

£120 spends depending on whether stopping out all night

Don't buy anything in the ground vast majority of the time.

Petrol from chrylesmore, chips for lunch, season ticket for me and 2 kids. £20 between us per game probably

I used to think........perhaps a corner every three minutes is all the excitement there is! Perhaps that is the price of being an Ice Hockey fan, where it is non-stop excitement.....who knows.

The Guinness is about the best thing that they keep in there in my opinion. The John Smiths is sometimes pretty poor. And the lagers are very hit and miss so we've drank Guinness all this season and it's been good.

We're there pretty early so always manage to get a glass and then we just keep hold of it. Hate plastic glasses!

jonny, their is exactly nothing wrong with Diss, it's a bit quiet, but it has more pubs than houses and their is very little crime.

I love living in Diss, infact I love living in Norfolk, it's safe and Norwich which is ten minutes away is the safest most beautiful city in the UK, and that's a fact, but I've have family in Quebec and always fancied giving it a go.

I still think all of us live in the best,most wonderful country on Earth, but I just like giving other counties a go
