After yet another defeat and many fans wanting Pressley out and relegation on the cards if results don't pick up the question is if he did go could a new manager do anything with this squad of players and work with our stupid owners ? That's why I think we're stuck with the Scot if we like it or not as he's stubborn and in it for the long haul by the sound of things.

We're just lucky our owners only came here for the short haul and only want a quick get in and get out again.

We need a very rich consortium to buy CCFC from SISU.

Form a good relatiionship with CCC and the CCFC fan base with a genuine backed up commitment to build a 25,000 stadium within Coventry.

Fund an experienced new mangaer with literally £millions to shove us up the leagues asap.

Once in the Prem they reap back their outlay and make £millions and £millions on their investment.

Everyone lives happily ever after.

Easy innit?

A new team, a new manager, a new ground, new owners. Apart from that...nothing.

And swap one set of Hedge Fund owners for another. Owners who both seem to move their team on a whim? No thanks. Frying pan, fire and all that.

Think the first part of that plan will have to include getting him very, very drunk first.

You then ask him if you can have his autograph and get him to scribble that on something he thinks is a scrap of paper, but in reality is a legally binding contract.

Given where we are right now, you'd take it, of course you would. Just don't like to admit it.

One hedge fund that actually buys a ground for 100% ownership. Over another that enjoys court cases. Least this actual hedge fund mean business. They've done more for wasps in 2 years then sisu have in 7 here.

so you would rather sisu stay?????

When you have the worst owners ever, anything is an improvement.
At least they are serious as they have put money into their infrastructure by obtaining the Ricoh.

And this, Ladies, is the exemplary model of a "no brainier"

Absolutely. I'd rather stick with SISU than risk even more with another hedge fund who have thought nothing of moving their team 85 miles permanently. You, Dadgad, Italia and the other Waspites can cream over the prospect, but I won't. I want owners who are interested in building the team in it's own City. These two aren't.

Why is it? Swapping one Hedge Fund with "form" for another hedge fund with "form". Won't happen anyway.

so your telling me sisu who own nothing over wasps owning us with the Ricoh and 100% income stream?

showing your true colours here

Yes, it is unbelievable because "we" wouldn't own anything. A hedge fund would.

erm because we'd then own the ground and get more income. cant believe you still want sisu here. unbelievable

But if we were bought out by Wasps we would own our own stadium.

And if you disagree with this then you would have to agree that we wouldn't have owned our own stadium if SISU would have got it.

We don't need a new stadium, we have a perfectly serviceable one in which we can stage home games. We would benefit from a new deal regarding revenues, but please don't regurgitate the Tim Fisher fig-leaf for bullying that implies that all revenues are vital. The rent is probably so low now that the revenues aren't as important as he makes out; it's just an attempt to justify their position and reject all reasonable compromise.

I've always said that CCFC (we) would never own a stadium again regardless of whether SISU or in this scenario Wasps bought into ACL. However, i think there was more chance of getting rid of SISU if they secured part ownership as they would have something tangible to sell.

That's why the current situation is the worst possible for our club.

Can we stop with the "own the stadium" bit? It's not so. The owners of the said stadium is still the council!
A lease is a very different thing to freehold ownership.
If you can't get that right then most everything talked of here is in danger of being flawed from the onset.

A 250 year lease is the equivalent of a freehold in all but technical aspects of a contract. The stadium will fall down before the lease has expired. For all intents and purposes Wasps own the arena.

London wasp owners says in 2013 " "Increasing revenue is an important part of a five-year strategic plan which we are currently finalising," said Richardson. "There is a combination of ways we can do this. Very obviously we want to increase revenue from ticket sales, increase sponsorship income and then, longer term, generate vital revenue through owning or co-owning our own stadium."

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/apr/10/wasps-owner-derek-richardson-stadium

So basically the council/acl have f**ked us up and we can't earn revenue. London Wasp didn't want us to even get 50% share and now they want to build a good realationship with CCFC so we remain as tenants.

Sisu aren't going to build a stadium they are full of sh*t. Just annoyed with Sisu not spending any money on staying up in championship instead they brought two bloody goalkeepers, Andy Thorn didn't have any decent players and we sold players without replacing them. All because it was Sisu game plan to get relegated to League one for cheaper rent deals and distress ACL to get Ricoh on the Cheap.

I'm really fed up with all this Saga and only giving Coventry this season see what happens if Sisu are still our owners next season and don't invest then I'm not renewing my season ticket. They owners have destroyed our club for good as well as ACL/CCC they are all to blame for this but more Sisu.

The best scenario would be Wasp buy CCFC and run both clubs and get us promoted.

OR Sisu build another stadium and start backing Pressley and give him some money to get better players instead of these loans that are not bothered about the team since they are going back to their parent club when loan expiry's.
