Very few managers have success at every club they manage but the good ones are the ones who have repeated the feat. An example of this is Roy Hogson at West Brom completely flopped at Liverpool but has had success at various jobs over the years Inter, Fulham and others.
If you look at the managers we have had in recent years they have all had success in varying degrees at one club but have not gone on to repeat the trick twice with us or any other club !

thing is, if he would have joined us he would still have been at Northampton as we would have sacked him after 12 months tops

And no doubt 3 pay-offs, albeit smallish ones. Did you see that with the Leicester pay-off, Sven has creamed off around £10 million from his round of sackings...... good "work" if you can get it!!!!
