What would you be happy with? (3 Viewers)

I feel like this is a certainty and as I've said before about us nearly signing Matondo in Jan, I'm pretty certain we'll get a wide player. Those would be the 2 nailed ons for me. You know what I think of our CFs and I'm sure Lampard is fully aware of how mediocre they are, but we'll have to move someone out to get an in there.

Agree, never thought all our business would be done in one window and with other priorities think a striker will have to wait.
Also think having to bring in a keeper and still having 3 LBs will have affected the budget.

I'm sure there's money available for transfers but having a bloated squad with people eating up wages will obviously be something they want to avoid. We really need to see a couple of fringe players moving on.

Experienced left sided centre back (Example Ben Davies from Rangers)

Young CF to compete with Wright (Example Kone from Wycombe)

Extra happy if we can get a RW on loan to compete with Sakamoto

Just try to clear some of our “ deck “ , before ( hopefully ) Doug will allow for 2 or 3 quality loans to make us definitely top 3 contenders & mirror what Scumderland did last season ?

I seems to me that the management team and the recruitment team have identified where our weaknesses lie and have tried to address them so far.
We needed a top goalie on loan until Dovin is fit and back to his best. Up until yesterday, it looked like we had sorted that.
LB/LWB has been a concern for a while and we have brought a player in who hopefully will overcome the big adjustments necessary.
We needed a back up RB/RWB and seemed to have cracked it, although maybe one leaving and one injured may bugger up the best laid plans. If MVE goes, we may need another one.
Frank says he wants cover for every position which would indicate a LCB and a RW are on our shopping list either to buy or on loan.
Be surprised if our kids get much match time this season but you never know.
People keep saying we need a player that can play any position across the front and score goals. Everyone wants one of those, which makes us vulnerable to a big offer for Rudoni..

CB/RW minimum, RB assuming MvE goes.

Ideal world swap Allen and Eccles for an AM and a CM, lose Bidwell and a keeper, one of Simms and BTA for a striker, Bassette and kids out on loan.
