To not expect the match thread to become even more toxic than it already is
To hope most fans understand the difficulty in staying up whilst not selling ourselves out of business
To just enjoy the ride and be proud of what we've achieved
Good point. We won't be in clover, it's going to be a struggle.

I just want us to put up a decent fight, if we go down then we go down, just to at least get it to the last few games and not be arse raped every single week

Would Ipswich and Southampton be in a much stronger position than us financially if we were to go up? Would prefer it if they stayed down and have teams like Middlesbrough and Millwall come up instead.

Rome wasn't built in a day and CCFC won't be built in a season – Doug will be sensible.

Aren't they both owned by American hedge funds and hobbled with the debt which that tends to bring?

There's no reason Coventry can't have a decent season. Good recruitment is the thing and clearly that has gone well recently. Sunderland have done it, Brentford have done it for years as have Bournemouth and these aren't clubs that are historically ' bigger' than Coventry

Well Sunderland are to be fair but take your point about Bournemouth and Brentford (and add Brighton to that list). It's their models we should be following

Every goal kick to be pumped into the other teams half reckon that will save us conceding about 15 stupid goals teams at the bottom seem to concede from short goal kicks.

otherwise I want us to spend money very carefully- don’t want to spunk money on players who won’t want to stay if we go down - would rather play the lads who got us there.
