Hope these rumours about you lot and administration aren't true, we've been there ourselves with dodgy chairman so know how it feels.

Anyway what about on the pitch? You lot not getting much luck lately or just poor performances? Turner has been immense since he got fit and Gunnar has been brilliant as a defensive midfielder, scoring a few too (sorry to rub it in!)

So what are your chances, anyone feeling at all optimistic?

Bluebirds!

Not surprised about Ben Turner he was top of the championship index table at the start of last season untill he picked up a severe injury.

Simply... No!!

I think we'll have to get extremely lucky to get anything and maybe that could happen, but luck doesn't really seem to visit Coventry very often!

PErformances have generally been good at least for one half anyway ,if your losing at halftime get some money on for a reverse ,we'ree particularly soft in the last twenty ,but i fancy the draw.

If we have Wood, Crainie, Keogh and Hussey at the back, you may not roll us over as easy as you may think judging by the league table.

We have no pace in midfield or attack....and no width, so any goals will come from picking up scraps in and around the box, or some individual brilliance from the like of Bigirama or Jutckiewicz. Clingan holds the midfield well together.

Our keeper, Murphy, is a good shot stopper, but commands his 6 yard box, not the whole box...apparently, he's 6ft 2" according to the offciial website, if that's the case, I have a 12" p8nis...soft.

On the bench, we have jacksh1t, so if you boss our 1st XI, it's game over.

As for Gunnar, enjoy him ths season, he was a one-season wonder for us.

We are increasingly desperate for points it could go 2 ways. Either it inspires us to greater things or the pressure leads to further capitulation

Put it this way dude. I'm a CCFC optimist (the real ccfc obviously ;)) and I feel the 6pt gap is already a 'giant leap for cov kind' so I will be delighted with any points from game.

Should be an interesting match, however if you want to come away with anything from the game you need to get to grips with Whittingham. Honestly the bloke is in the form of his life and is worth the entry fee alone. His goal yesterday was just sublime and typifies what he is all about, oozes class. Our weakness I would say is our fullbacks bomb on a bit too much and can be caught out of position, especially down our left we let far too many crosses into the box. Our keepers sound alike, bit inconsistent on crosses into the box but quality shot stopper. Always rated Clingan for you lot was really good for Norwich, cracking free kicks too.

I reckon 1-0 to us, Kenny Miller with the goal.

I disagree, Digby....6 points can be retrieved. However, if we fail to win the next two...and a point is the maximum, I fear...then by Saturday night we could be 7/8 points adrift, and that's when we start to appraoch the double figure gap which will need a 3/4/5 match winning run to claw back.

I also fear that as we do a Preston/Sheff U, the bigger gaps gives a little more credence to taking a 10-point hit via admin...I mean, will SISU think, "...we're ten points adrift, that's nigh on impossible retrieve, so let's just take the admin route.".

Ranson said prior to his departure (and whilst collecting £250k a year) that relegation to League 1 was 'armageddon'....well that's where we could be heading....

That won't be a weakness on Tuesday, mate!

As an aside, I'm reading the Soul Crew book at the moment....excellent read.

Ahh Peter Whittingham. A truly excellent player, if only we'd kept hold of him.

Our main threat will be from full-backs pushing forward, and our right-back Cyrus Christie has put in plenty of dangerous crosses from that side and has a good few assists to his name. Might give us some encouragement if you struggle to defend that side.

We tend to get lots of possession in our back 4, and we really struggle against teams who close the defence down and don't give them time or space. If we're allowed to keep the ball, pass it around unpressurised, we can frustrate the opposition and catch them out of position.

Well that is no problem as we play with no wingers and don't counter attack very well.

I agree Whittingham is a class act.

Did we ever have him at our academy? I can't find any sources backing this up. Only that he is from Nuneaton and attended a Coventry school.

Pretty sure I read somewhere he was. Only as a young kid though.

Could be mistaken of course.

Either way - Cov kid! ;)
