It looks like it's gone back to the original Mafia where it's an open(ish) world but not an open world game. I love the setting but I'm like you, once it hits £20 and under I'm inReally enjoyed all 3 Mafia games. Looked at the new one, Old Country, but it looks a bit naff/uninspiring. I might give it a go one day when its a bit cheaper. But from the reviews ive read, £45 for only a 13 hour game is a bit too much for me.

Have you tried any Bethesda games? Skyrim, Fallout 3/4/New Vegas are all old and a bit janky but they're fantastic imo.Looking for suggestions. Im a tight arse so wont pay full price for a game so has to be either playstation plus freebie, or discounted!
PS5.
Open World.
Cheap/Free.
Has to be 3rd person. 1st person makes my eyes go funny and gives me motion sickness!
I enjoy the Assasins Creed games but wont pay over £60 for Shadows so that's out.
Really enjoyed Ghost of Tushima. Waiting g for Ghost of Yotei to come out and decrease in price.
Thinking of run through number 5 of RDR2 unless anyone can suggest anything else decent?

Ghost of Tsushima - Just bought a PS5 so I'm late to this game but loving it. Very pretty.
Yes this is pretty much what happens. It's why i can only play Switch really, usually for like 30 mins in bed when i can be arsed but thats about all there is time for. Dad life...With young kids I find it harder and harder to have the time and energy to game so I end up mainly dabbling in games and often drop them after the first few hours. I really should move to game pass rather than further building my Steam collection of unfinished games…
However, most recently I started the first Kingdom Come Deliverance, impressive but quite hard to get into, defo not the ideal game for a busy dad, and Dune: Imperium, based on a board game of the same name. Nice bit of strategy and pretty easy to pick up.
I have a Switch too but haven’t touched it since I got a Steam deck. Loads of games I’d love to try on it still and they’re great consoles but yeah it’s just the time.Yes this is pretty much what happens. Fallout looks good. Also like.the look of The Last of Us games. Was never really a fan of zombie games but downloaded Days Gone for free just before they remastered it and enjoyed that.Have you tried any Bethesda games? I'm currently playing Oblivion Remastered and I am loving it.
Really enjoyed Ghost of Tushima. Ghost of Yotei comes out on 2nd October. I wont buy it full price though. Ill wait till after Xmas and people will be selling it cheap on vinted.Chivalry 2 - Been playing this for 3 or 4 years. 64 player multiplayer medieval hack and slash. Easy to learn, difficult to master.
Dead by Daylight - Just got into this last 6 months or so. Online 4 survivors vs 1 killer (Often famous horror movie characters e.g. Chucky, Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers). Escape before you get killed.

If you've never played the Last Of Us I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Both amazing but the first has the better overall storyFallout looks good. Also like.the look of The Last of Us games. I have got into the second Kingdom Come, it’s a bit clunky trying to do ‘combat’ with a mouse and move around with the keyboard, but it’s enough to keep me interested. With young kids I find it harder and harder to have the time and energy to game so I end up mainly dabbling in games and often drop them after the first few hours.
