Can't actually find any decent photos, just when I was having a play around with lighting/configuration etc, probably got double the amount of games across most consoles from the mega drive up to current day. Got loads of figures and all that filler crap.

Rooms currently rammed full of shit too as I'm redecorating elsewhere so no up-to-date pictures.
Looks good. Get some more pics as its coming along.

I do enjoy the odd game of Forza Horizons on the Xbox (mostly, I try to get all of the classic cars I'd have in real life if I had the money), and even a bit of COD, though I find first person shooter games tend to give me motion sickness after a while.

I'm obviously far too old for this, but it was gaming that got me interested in computers (we're talking TRS-80 games here!), and I've done OK out of that for a living, so I'm not ready to quit yet.

What I really hate about things like COD is that if I go multiplayer I know that I'm getting absolutely smoked by ten-year-olds who are laughing their arse off about the noob who is spending half his time staring at the sky whilst spinning around trying to shoot at something - anything!

It gives me the very strong urge to invite them offline to see what their unarmed combat skills are like. In fairness, the bigger ones would probably beat me at that too! :)

I tend to stick to single player stuff as I cba to get smoked by a kid and then find a message in my inbox telling me he's going to fuck my mum too.

Y'know, I'm not entirely sure these things are good for kids! Possibly not us either. :)

In truth, I just turn off chat on all of these things, and usually spend no more than two minutes (or approximately eight to ten deaths) before sloping quietly back to single player mode.

I'm back on Candy Crush on my phone. Been on Pool for a bout a year, but gone back to CC. I know there's thousands of games out there, but I try and avoid them as I'm so easily addicted and lose hours at a time (a bit like on here).

Tbh I wish I'd stick to wanking as a hobby, took far less time and effort.

Just on the latter, I was sternly warned that it would make me go blind.

I asked if I could just do it until I needed glasses.

I'm nearing the end of another play through of Red Dead 2. Sometimes the controls can be awkward and it can feel like you're wading through treacle but other than that it's still a marvel, Rockstar games always have a great sense of place and create worlds you can just spend time mucking about in.

Also got the remake of XIII which I never finished at the time, when the remake came out it got all kinds of shit for messing with the comic book at style and generally feeling unfinished, they fixed it all but the damage must have been done as it's down to £1.50 on the PS Store. Cheaper than a petrol station Mars bar, that'll do me

I only play single player games. Too old and reactions too slow for multiplayer
Still enjoy the older multiplayers like CODUO and COD4 on my PC, there are some older gamers there who are as slow as us! Rocket League is the only footballish game I'm good at and the grandkids play that too on their consoles, so that's my involving the family duties sorted.
Got a Quest headset which hasn't exploded like Meta hoped, but still some really immersive games and you can keep fit from the comfort of your own home lol.

Get that a lot. My standard reply is you'll have to dig her up first, pervert.

Looking for suggestions. Im a tight arse so wont pay full price for a game so has to be either playstation plus freebie, or discounted!

PS5.
Open World.
Cheap/Free.
Has to be 3rd person. 1st person makes my eyes go funny and gives me motion sickness!

I enjoy the Assasins Creed games but wont pay over £60 for Shadows so that's out.
Really enjoyed Ghost of Tushima. Waiting g for Ghost of Yotei to come out and decrease in price.

Thinking of run through number 5 of RDR2 unless anyone can suggest anything else decent?

Witcher 3 is probably my favourite all time game. Spiderman 2 is also really good if you're on playstation.
Elden Ring is decent, but it's not exactly chill out. Stressful asf.

They're all quite old now so I'd imagine discounted

I've played Spider man 2 and Miles Morales. Enjoyed both. Both are really good games. I've just finished Hogwarts Legacy, which i can highly recommend. Whether you're in to Harry Potter or not, it's a good RPG with a good story and plenty of side missions.

I've been looking at The Witcher 3. Only £25 currently, too, which fits the bill. Might give that a go!

Edit, ive just found someone selling a hard copy of The Witcher 3 on Vinted for £7! Bargain!

If you buy Witcher 3, make sure you buy the edition with all the add ons and DLC.
The two expansions are the size and quality of standalone games, really good.

Will have a look at Hogwarts Legacy, cheers!

Yeh Witcher 3 (get the Wild Hunt Edition) is always super cheap. I got a hard copy on Xbox for about a fiver then saw the digital on sale for about a fiver too.

I finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 a couple of weeks ago. Turn-based RPGs are my favourite genre (although not everyone's bag), and this game blew my mind. One of my favourites I've played in a long, long time.

Are the add-ons Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone? If so, they're currently £15.99 and £7.99 respectively. The game I just bought (hard copy on Vinted) didn't come with any DLC. If I enjoy it, I might pay for the 2 extra levels at a later date.

Yep, they're the two expansions. Definitely worth buying, although I'm surprised one is still £16!

The older I get the harder I find it to game

If I get time I wanna do online multiplayer.

I do not know how adults play games that are 100 hours long etc. I feel like I should be doing something else with my time after 20 minutes. I don't get joy like I used too one player.

I have been playing guardians of galaxy on ps4 for over 8 months and it's a 20 hour game to complete!

Took the plunge and got Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, clearing space on the laptop to fit the size of it but looking forward to it. Not the sort of game I'd go for but looks like it's got quite rich gameplay.

Mafia 3 is good although veers towards repetition if you spend too long outside the main story, one of the best soundtracks ever in a game though

I got that for my birthday and found it really difficult to get into. You kind of get dumped in the wilderness and told to figure it out, really not my bag and I thought the combat was awful too 🫤 Hope you get on with it better than I did!

I've seen really good reviews for it which comment on you being allowed to play in pretty much whatever style you like. I'm game for running around getting killed for a bit anyway 😂

Really enjoyed all 3 Mafia games. Looked at the new one, Old Country, but it looks a bit naff/uninspiring. I might give it a go one day when its a bit cheaper. But from the reviews ive read, £45 for only a 13 hour game is a bit too much for me.

Looked at this too. Looks a good game but its only in 1st person i believe?

I took the plunge and bought Cyberpunk 2077 as it looked fantastic. Really liked the look of it and reviews etc. Paid £30 for it and lasted about 40mins. Not turned it on since! Really can't be doing with 1st person anymore.

Shame, because I used to love a bit of COD online.

Not normally my bag but getting a bit tired of my classic RTS and city builder games so will try something different. My laptop can just about run it…

It has a fantastic soundtrack but couldn't get on with Mafia 3. The Yakuza games are really good if you are looking for an open world type game.
