Not everyone's taste, I know, but I'm really enjoying listening to Nilsson's "A little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night". So chilled and relaxing. Got a good few of his albums. Became a huge fan many years ago. First album of his I bought was back in 1969, "Aerial Ballet", after I'd heard the track "Everybody's Talkin'", which featured in the film, Midnight Cowboy with Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight.

I'm currently listening to my favourite vinyl album.
ELO - "Eldorado". First heard the whole album when round a mates flat back in the mid 70's. Both stoned and listening to the album! (Happy times, but I'm a good boy these days! ). Anyone else know this album?

No have tbh but several tracks would be relevant to me, may have even had in tape in the car or confusing it with later compilations.

Was practically brought up on ELO, Dad was a huge fan. Face the Music, Eldorado and Out of the Blue are the three for me. I am massively in to quite obscure, alternative music and the like but Jeff Lynne is such an underrated songwriter. A very special place in my heart, a great way to remember Dad.

I'm also a big fan of The Travelin' Wilburys, which had Jeff Lynn as a member, along with Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and the great Tom Petty.

She is incredible, but the clip that account shared is from 1964. Idea that people were shredding on Gibson SGs in the 1930s is quite funny. Oh, internet.

For anyone who fancies a bit of nostalgia Korn have announced a date in Brum.

And the CBS accounts have been teasing a gig announcement but I have zero clue who. Few people saying Kylie but that may be more based off the fact that we sing one of her songs

Yeah all the clips are from the early 60's. Really strange setting on a railway platform and the audience are mostly Caucasian.

I love the Dubliners but for me, The Fureys just edge it.

A bit of a sub category but doesnt warrant its own thread... What Bands or Artists did you dislike when you were younger but love listening to now?

Mine is Keane, dispised them in the early 2000, I think because a couple of tracks kept repeating where I worked. Then afew years ago I was watching the Isle of Wight Festival and they were amazing. Loved all the tracks, even the ones I hated when younger.
