No signings, no kit, no more pre season friendlies announced, no European Tour and my points have gone down by 340

Worst ground for me was Gillingham! Real shithole of a place! An evening kick off. Took hours to get there, sat with four of us in a bloody Fiat Pinto (or some tiny box!). Got lost on the way back to Cov!Love the old rickety grounds. The one good thing about when we played in the small town leagues a few years ago.
Clubs were told not to by the EFL if they could avoid it, as well as not announcing the tv picks. You think the club are going to release upbeat stuff after today's sad news? It would seem crass and inappropriate surely. Maybe tomorrow.
I had an American friend who lives in Thailand contact me this morning asking me why I had not told him during a phone conversation yesterday that " Ronaldo had died ". He obviously knows very little about football although he along with his Thai gf had actually gone to watch the Cov v Blackburn game the season before last on a visit to the UK.Clubs were told not to by the EFL if they could avoid it, as well as not announcing the tv picks.

I don't have a problem with it at all. Nothing wrong with showing a bit of respect. No harm will come from not making announcements for one day.I may be lacking empathy here, and although it is sad that Jota has died in a car accident, I'm not sure what that has to do with the EFL. The requirement of the entire footballing world to grind to a halt seems a bit extreme.
Ultimately people die every day, and it's bordering on mourning sickness at this point.
