I’d be back there in a heartbeat!

The Ricoh promised/promises so much but it’s turned in to a complete nightmare for the football club!

You’d be pissed off if you had a nice ground like they had and it was replaced by that horrible soulless structure they’ve got now. Plus the lies they were told in the process.

The Ricoh isn’t perfect but their ground is probably my least favourite. I can’t think of a single good thing about it.

I've not been to the Olympic stadium but as another soulless bowl that we don' own either, how is theirs worse than ours? If anything I imagine facilities are improved as a bit newer and of course bigger. With the exception of location being Cov what do we have that they don't?

They don't have to share it with Egg Chasers!
The pitch is perfectly green.
They have a club shop there.
They have West Ham memorabilia up, 365 days a year, not just a few pics on a match day.
They play games when it snows.

There was nothing wrong with the Boleyn but the fans accepted they had to move on to grow as a club. What’s happenened is they’ve sold out their soul and not grown at all. I’d be pissed off if I was them.

Also sold it with promises of growth but surprisingly the porn barons haven’t spent the money on the team just like at Birmingham

Thing that annoys me most is West Ham fans banging on about Boleyn this and that up until last 3-4 years they and everyone else called it Upton Park yet they claim they never did

I see West Ham have confirmed they’ll be punishing all those fans that invaded the pitch by automatically renewing their season tickets next season.

The lower tier is like Gillingham’s away stand. It’s a load of scaffolding with a few planks on top if it. You’re miles away from the pitch. The atmosphere is non existent as the back of it is open so it also feels like there’s a force 10 gale blowing through there. The segregation is substandard. The arrangements to get people away from it are poor. That’s just the first few things that come to mind.

Hard to feel sorry for their situation in my opinion. It is not that their existence is threatened or that the owners have not spent money. It is basically they haven't won the games they feel they are entitled to. Had they been winning the ground would be fine, so would the atmosphere.

You see the problem I have with this is two things. Firstly I don't agree with pitch invasions, I never have. Secondly look at the coverage, the fans are classed as the villains, it is national coverage and the implications are that fans protest is a bad thing, something owners can use to their own advantage. Makes protest by fans at clubs with real problems so much harder, makes their voice less likely to be heard.

West ham in crisis........ really?

The issue is if they go down and the crowds drop they will be in crisis. Especially with the rental deal they’ve signed up to.

So they are not now and the fans are not protesting that are they. So the protests are really about what?

I still think if they win a few games it will all die down. Crisis what crisis. They have nothing like the real problems at a number of EFL clubs.

I think it’s like Newcastle - seriously unpopular owners and the fact they sold the ground move to the fans on the basis there would be huge investment in the team - they are one of the worst net spenders in the premier league

The protests were mad and shows that protests can definitely adversely impact players on the pitch.

But many of those football league clubs have problems as much because they were glossed over while they were in the top flight and league position made it seem alright.

Could be they are looking at what is happening at other clubs and do not want it happening there. Prevention is better than cure.

The London stadium is a great general venue, but as a football ground it is shite.

There are some things about it that are better than the Ricoh such as the public transport, plenty of food outlets and the fact it actually seems like their ground etc. However, that would probably change if they got relegated.

The atmosphere at the Ricoh is bad, but I'd say it's better than LS.

The difference is when the Ricoh is full(ish) the atmosphere is pretty good. When it’s a quarter full it’s poor but still better than a full LS.

I'm really pushed to care. We have far bigger problems that I'm concerned about.
If they've Not looked at other clubs situations (us for a starter) and learned from it, and have signed a £2.5 deal EVEN in the lower league's, then more fool them!
