Same team maybe Esse for EMC if injured(again),same high intensity high press from the off.

Has it been said that EMC is injured?

Always felt like Bramall Lane isn't too bad of a ground for us, seen us win and draw a few there over the years
I don't think we have anything to fear at Bramall lane if we play to our ability.
I will be more confident of a result there if we can turn West Brom over and get back some of our confidence on the road.

BTA needs to start on the bench. If EMC is fit, he starts.

Should be the same starting 11 vs Boro if they're all fit.
The only thing that makes me think EMC may not start is the big game away at Sheffield in the week.

Should we be comfortable in this and he only needs to play 60 minutes its not too bad

I would rest Wright to save him for Sheff Utd.

I'd stick BTA in his place and then just tell Rushworth to kick the ball long all day, for Asante to out-muscle their defenders.

To be quite honest, if we did that, we might only need 3 players. Rushworth, BTA and the Tank to mop everything else up

Are you kidding? Almost a week off it will be since Boro game. Can't rest your striker who just scored a hatrick!

Really looking forward to seeing how the tank gets on in what will be a very different game to the Boro one. Would absolutely love a strong and solid performance and a win to build up confidence further

We have a very good chance in both games if we play that aggressive high tempo closing down stuff that stifled Boro. Get straight down their throats without committing any serious offences and fluster them. Then let our players with the cutting edge do the damage.

Id rather Lampard just picks whatever he sees fit for an away game at West Brom, rather than employ the exact same tactics in all games until the end of the season.

That being said, I hope the fullbacks are a little less high as they seemed to be against Boro.

I watched FTT during the game and him and Grimes covered the hole thats left by the fullback moving up the field.Normally the opposition see where our fullbacks are and from corners they boot it up to the space they leave behind them Mboro tried that on Monday and it was swept up by them or the Goalkeeper

Their GK was practicing his kicking with that in mind before KO for about 10-15 minutes for about 3distance variables.

Agree…the title would be the icing on the cake but my eye has always been on our gap to 3rd
7 points to 3rd with our GD. not bad for a team who’s wheels apparantley fell off in December 😂 thing is we don’t even have to be that good away, 6 home wins and 3 away gets it done, leaves 5 games to pick up any bonus.

Lampard tactics away from home have been shocking for months, send same team out play same way should be to much for them.Need a few early goals if possible as there confidence is already shot.

To be fair we’ve not had the players to change it much, problem you get when you’ve got half a squad of wingers, onyeka’s a game changer for us, brilliant signing

Yeah I agree that they haven’t been great of late, but I trust him now to change that. Part of the reason is because we have approached lots of away games in the same manner we have our home ones.

I trust that he’ll have watched West Brom and know how to approach the game now we have a full squad of players with some additional quality.

That approach has seen us score first quite often. The problem has been that instead of tightening things up after taking the lead, we keep going with a gung ho, everyone charges forward set up.

It's pissing points away. Really if we'd converted any two of those 5 games into wins the table looks much much better.

Yeah it’s a fair shout, that early intensity has helped. It’s about what we do after that though and how we deploy our full backs and if we continue to press or not.

Earlier in the season we were a lot more adaptable on the road than we have been since December. Based on his comments on Monday I think FL’s plan now is to play with high intensity for the first 45-60 minutes then shut up shop.
