The thing is Sheffield United have a rich owner who wants to instant success these large spending, foreign owners aren't patient folk, sad to hear for Sheffield United fans, can only say this will benefit us.
I am sure Chris Morgan had a Caretaker spell in charge of the club last season.
That ignores all physcologicall effects tho what about if key players like working under Weir what if it comes as a shock and preparation is now unsettled, many things to consider however I'm always uneasy when a team changes their manager before a game with us, Swindon last season highlighted that they were full of energy and passion all be it we had a mare but still
Thats the thing, Sheffield Utd have a lot of decent players. Its just Weir had no clue what he was doing, a competent manager would have that squad comfortably in the play offs
Bad. Sounds like they were going nowhere under weir. Think they'll definitely raise their game. But king isn't playing and neither is George long. Most the supporters think they have no goals in the team without those 2, but I think it'll be a much tougher game than before.
Was he not in the team that awful night when they beat us in the FACUP on pens.. or does memory not serve me well?
Morgan's an absolute animal, and an ugly one at that, and expect Sheffield United to up the physical side of the game under him.
Anyone remember him intimidating the ref at half time at the Ricoh and in the second half the ref didn't give us a sniff of a decision as a result.
They still have jose baxter who is a very dangerous player! fingers crossed king is definitely out though.
