I have found that it helps both suppress the appetite and fill me up but I’m glad I’m working at home, i would be out of every meeting on 30 minutes in the toilet, I just hide my screen on zoom and mute myself right now

Yeah thinking about it I was hammering the green tea and pints of water a few weeks ago and wasn't having to go for a slash 2 times an hour.

Water works for losing water weight and you tend to bloat less in my experience (I’m a bloater). Also for hunger. I think you need it if you’re low carb to help process all the protein but don’t quote me on that.

I had mine set at 13.5 stone, but once you get in the groove (which you seem to be) you’ll be surprised how easy it is to keep going and smash the target- just keep the discipline up and you’ll fly past it

Now lost 1.5 stone. Lowest weight for about 40yrs (10.5st). Pubs not reopened here in Leicester yet so still not got that temptation although home drinking beginning to go up (spirits more than beer). Problem now is need to tone up skin and tummy muscle

Those heavy weights are there, go take out the mortgage frustration on them, everyone is allowed a day or two off but get back on it now again.

Iv been trying to lose weight now for a couple of months. Been on a calorie controlled diet and was all going swimmingly. Until last weekend when I went out for a meal for my birthday. Since then I can even lose the weight I put on from that meal. hopefully its just water retention due to being a salty meal.

But its demotivating.

Cheers

I think its just frustrating. As was falling off at just over 2 pound a week. been stuck this week on +1 pound. All down to 1 bad meal.

Im sure there is some very complex science behind it. But would just like to start losing some again haha.

I dont think I can use the word lean yet. Maybe less like a pork scratching.

I need to up my exercise. Hopefully that might help a bit.

This is true- I’m 45 and the last few pounds have been harder and longer to get off that the previous 5 stone. You have to step it up even another level.

Best (only?) thing to do is to really switch to resistance/ weights, that is better than all cardio for the last few stubborn bits. cut out bread and lower carbs, gorge on protein drink endless amounts of water. That’s what did it for me anyway, but yeah- the last few pounds are horrendous.

Got on the scales Tuesday morning and heaviest I’ve been in a good few years. Been eating shit and drinking like a Club Release regular.

Been back to boot camp twice this week and Missus has stuck me on one of those pegan diets so we’ll see how I get on.

The amount of designer gear I have in a separate wardrobe now that I can’t fit into is ridiculous. And embarrassing.

Just stick the course, real weight loss has plateaus and ups and downs on the journeys. Just stick to the basic principles you’ve been following and minor adjustments

The body is a funny thing- just from what I’ve seen but I’ve stuck to eating the same things every single day- lots of veg, some kind of protein, nothing processed basically. I do some kind of exercise every day too. I weigh most mornings at the same time of just to see how things are going- long story short I’ve stuck to a routine like glue.

But yet when I look at the weight trend it’s nuts. It’s going down alright overall but some days down 0.5 pounds, some days up 0.5 pounds, some days no movement at all then bang- down 2 pounds in a day- weird. Conclusion after all that- some weird & complex things are going on in your body and even though you might not see the benefits on the scales right away, you’re ‘banking it’, and soon enough it will show- and in the meantime you’re much healthier. Don’t get hung up on the scales, that can be disheartening for no reason- if you do the right things it will come off, that’s a plain fact. Good luck with it

Without being an expert things like water retention/hydration, glycogen stores, how fast food is being digested, food volume the night before (not calories) can temporary affect your weight.

As long as the generals trend is downwards it’s all good, a lot of people weigh each day and then calculate the weekly average as it better takes into account these fluctuations in weight.

Since I've been out on my window cleaning round more after lockdown, I've lost over a stone in weight. No dieting just lots of walking and exercise.
Definitely feel fairly fit again as I felt sluggish, and low in mood, the lockdown was definitely turning me unfit and lazy.
Where I'm living now I see lots of dog walkers as Wiseman Fields is at the back, and one or two runners too. So no excuse really is there not to get out and about unless obviously unable etc.
It may sound obvious but eat less and exercise more is the best way !

Ordered myself a xl two tone shirt the other day as both a reward to me and something to look forward to, currently in xxl but they are starting to loose, had to start tieing my shorts up aswell as ass keeps hanging out when walking , so somethings definitely happening even though I can't physically see it yet.
