And that is so, so massive. Could be absolutely huge.

Next Saturday Peterborough for us and Forest away for Bristol!!

We could be well clear by the time we go to Ashton Gate on the Easter Monday.

Yeah happy with that. Puts Peterborough pretty much safe and they can come here not needing the points!!

I've said for ages that if we're still in touch by the end of March then we'll be in with a real chance of survival with a few winnable games in April.

To be out of the bottom 3 at this stage is very encouraging.

It is in our hands now, beat the teams around us, and we can stay up! Now is the time to focus , concentrate, and not be complacent. We have given ourselves the chance to do it, but we can't lose focus- lets complete the job we have started!!

Been nervously refreshing the scores page on my phone for the last couple of hours while watching my missus shopping. Great results all round. If this is what happens then we can do this every time we play away.

Momentum's definitely with us at the moment-would've been nice if Derby had held on at Brizzle, but our GD is now so superior to theirs that it's essentially a point's advantage in itself. Great stuff today boys!

If you could stick 10 past them that would be great. Get us a goal difference advantage

OK but to mis-quote Bill Hicks, if you try it, take off from the ground. Avoid windows!

My mate turned to me at the final whistle last week as the players slumped, "Look at Portsmouth's players, they're shattered by that..they're gone". Today's result suggests that was their last chance-making our victory all the more well-earned. They say playing the teams around you is an advantage, but not when they are all fighting for their lives!

Barmby taking quite a battering off the BBC Humber reporter at the moment-makes Geoff look feeble!

Shocking that Pompey got battered at home, another clean sheet for us, we certainly have the psychological edge now. Only brizzle to worry about if we keep this form up.

'Coventry are the worst team we've seen at the KC stadium this season.' Bitter?

To be fair, it was a phone in caller-but that was the general tone of the texts and calls.

Right. Good job. You don't expect to hear that sort of thing from a manager.

Hull fans seemed strangely confident going into the game. yes it was us, but they were on a poor run themselves.

Barmby gave quite a stubborn interview-he seemed to take offence at most of the interviewer's questions. Seems like a manager out of his depth from his tone and the tone of people who rang in. I think our own fans who've followed City away for the last 12 months without success deserve real plaudits-the times I've been to see us on the road the support's been excellent every time and more often than not they come away disappointed. Great to see that loyalty repaid with a win today

Bristol City are at Forest 5.20 on sky next saturday,Hopefully we will be 4 points clear by then and they have a terrible record against them.
Could be a big factor on Bristol if we win.

Funny isn't it what some fans see and some don't! Fair play, that's gracious.
