Momentum's definitely with us at the moment-would've been nice if Derby had held on at Brizzle, but our GD is now so superior to theirs that it's essentially a point's advantage in itself. Great stuff today boys!

My mate turned to me at the final whistle last week as the players slumped, "Look at Portsmouth's players, they're shattered by that..they're gone". Today's result suggests that was their last chance-making our victory all the more well-earned. Barmby gave quite a stubborn interview-he seemed to take offence at most of the interviewer's questions. Seems like a manager out of his depth from his tone and the tone of people who rang in. I think our own fans who've followed City away for the last 12 months without success deserve real plaudits-the times I've been to see us on the road the support's been excellent every time and more often than not they come away disappointed. Great to see that loyalty repaid with a win today
