imagine Bristol Rovers thoughts on the weekend, as JCH was equally as ineffective v us.

We cant judge Baka v a prem defence, as clearly he's nowhere near that quality, he's a league one reserve striker.

I judge him on what I’ve seen mate and he’s not even close to the level needed he’s atrocious

Baka failed to do the basic stuff as a professional footballer. Didn't win many headers considering his height and his first touch was heavy.

I don’t think it’s the end for max robins probably wants him to become fitter, we may see him On the bench in place of Baka Saturday I don’t want to see Baka near our starting 11 again.

Max physically stronger than Baka. And is Baka better technically? I wouldn’t say so. Baka out wide was no better than Max the other week...

it sounded great on the radio, but cant for the life of me see how it would beat Notts county away in that semi !

Last 10 as good, if not better than Country. Best Twist and Shout since West Brom 15 years ago 5-0 down.

it was a game v a prem defence.

Be interested to see what people think of kastaneer tonight as personally he was very ineffective and didn't pose any threat whatseoever, but again, he was against a team who it was likely that would happen.

certainly think we could comment on players for effort, but ability v a prem team seems harsh

When? They battered us more than once in the Championship. Christ we even lost there in the Premier League when they finished bottom. We've not fallen the far the reality is that the disproportionate economic gap means that they can hold a squad with £25m players in the second string

20 years ago I watched us beat them 4-0 at HR. Equally 20 years ago Brighton finished 17th in League 2 and Man City, Burnley and Bournemouth were all in League 1. Times change, We are (despite our ground situation) On a upward cycle at the minute.... long may it continue.

One of their fans said on the way out that our fans were ‘Premier League class’ and we sang more and louder than most visiting sides he’s seen.

Premier league class? Were all our fans sat down politely clapping whilst enjoying a Chicken and avocado salad and a cup of earl grey?

That ‘performance’ from Bakayoko was unacceptable. Just the basics he couldn’t get right. Never mind playing against premier league players there were times when a Watford player was yards from him with time and he couldn’t control a ball.

Robins will have him out in January if he can.

after a nightmare journey back, time to reflect. disappointed robins didn’t start with a stronger team. Baka needs to be dropped and put in the u23’s. Terrible performance from him. Eccles tried hard but not good enough. keeper looked dodgy at times. positives. Villa lad looked clever, Dabo good. Fans amazing the last 20 mins. T&S was hair rising stuff. proud of the SBA tonight and I hate m1 and a5 closures

Looks a good player. Shame the rest of the players aren't on his wavelength. Took players on, passing was neat and tidy. one next dribble through their defence but they managed to crowd him out after he had beaten 3. He was kicked from pillar to post by Watford. He was fouled 5 or 6 times and got no protection from the ref. Obviously targeted by Watford and if the ref had booked one or two after 3 or 4 fouls on him it might of stopped. Think he will be a player who gets people standing up with excitement.

Oh well-if in doubt just sing twist and shout for twenty minutes!
Might aswell as apart from the first 20 minutes it was men against boys and the gulf was massive and fans new our number was up as soon as the second goal went in. Don’t think we troubled Gomez apart from Kelly’s long ranger and Watford didn’t really get out of 2nd gear.

Great effort by the fans tonight - even a couple of Watford players came over and applauded us at the end.

45 mins to get out of car park, parts of M1 closed but I have seen my team play (yes outplayed for parts), I have seen them lose, I have been part of a fantastic away crowd that supported the team for the full 90mins. Spare a thought for bury fans who will never again experience the emotions of supporting their team through thick and thin.
ManU, Liverpool fans etc wont understand but the likes of us, Blackpool, Pompey and many more will feel as one with Bury suppoters tonight.

I thought we played really well and were in the game after an hour gone. We played lovely football at times and noticed when we won the ball back in our own third, we played it out, rather than hoofing up field.
Dabo and mason look the real deal. Centre halves solid enough. O hare has talent but was getting kicked all over - should get better with match sharpness. I thought hiwula worked hard but ineffective and same with kasteneer. Baka was awful - didn’t win many headers and made zero runs. I thought tonight would have been perfect for a fit and fighting Jodi Jones.

Second half we tired massively and premier league calibre came through. SBA immense in numbers and noise. Thought the ref reffed well. Could have dished our more yellows though.

Home fans poor. First song was on 50 odd minutes. Brilliant old traditional ground though and easy to get to.

Learning experience but my oh my, Robins is building something with us.
Let’s go and get 3pts at Oxford.

I rate Biamou over Baka any day of the week. He would have given us more leading the line last night.
