Good chance for 2 blazed over by Pugh.

Good build up by Clarke cheating the ball past a defender, played out wide to miller who crosses for O Brien but can't get a good connection then Pugh hoofs the ball high and wide

Johnson tries a 'mo konjic' like run. Needs to improve on the finish though. Was more of a pass back from him

Half time. 1-0 up.

More impressive today. This can't be far from our first 11 v Bradford imo.

Looked comfortable in possession and out of it.

Pressing the ball well and finding the front two most of the time.

Few chances created, and decent performance overall.

Got to say though I'm glad we don't have a foreign manager! Is theirs Italian? How the players can communicate with him on the side lines is beyond me. I thought having a scot was bad enough

Think it's another 15 minutes of the second half for the players who started the match then the second lot get half an hour.

They're doing ok together but I think most of the better play has come from the midfield getting balls to them rather than them getting it from one another, if that makes sense

To pick up on a couple of points raised there. SP confirmed last night that Baker and Barton will be leaving the club.

2nd half team for Watford: Gomes; Doyley, Angella, Ekstrand, Pudil; Murray, Andrews, McGugan; Deeney, Ranegie, Fabbrini.

Troy Deeny in in the second half. He's one unit! Not sure who their 23 is either playing up top too, but he's also a big lad.

Not many chances created by us this half so far but good practice for off the ball recovery

Swanson Thomas and Maddison on (or 'the two young strikers' as Pressley referred to them on the bench)

O'Brien, Tudgay and Miller off

How is this possible, surely you lie?

Tudgay is terrible as he was a free transfer and we are going down.

Don't get too excited. Apparently goals in anything but league games don't count

If that was the case then surely we would want to keep him off the pitch.

Just wondered why he is getting gametime if he isn't going to be bothered with.

Besides, it's in the past. Meaning that's referencing his previous record, which is no indicator of how he'll do in the future

Keep/get him fit? Shop window (and not in the Noel Whelan sense)?

Just to piss Carl Baker off?
