Cheers.

Good turn out then for Saturday.

Pleaase, please, please City, at least turn up and put a half-decent effort in!! You owe it to the fans who fork out their hard earned dosh to go and watch you supposedly earn your inflated wages.

If and when the City put a good effort in, try their best and give it everything they've got and lose then I am never one to complain. It's the half-hearted, couldn't get going, lack of spirit and fight efforts that really get right up my nose. I am still mightily irked by that Forest effort ..... that's if you can call it an effort.

Get yourselves motivated, sweat buckets and chase every lost cause! Anything less than 100% is not acceptable.

In the CET Thorn is still saying we will be looking at home games as the escape route.

“The lads are determined and I am certain we’ll get enough points to get out of this.

"It doesn’t matter who drops out injured, if we keep going and pushing we have proved we can compete with the better sides.

“The games we’ve got coming up at home are particularly important, massive really, because we play all the teams down and around us – Portsmouth, Peterborough, Millwall and Doncaster – games that we know that if we do the right things then we have got a great chance.

Though he has also said this ......

City boss wants full compliment of points from games at Watford and Cardiff.

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that City want maximum points from their trips to Watford on Saturday and Cardiff City on Wednesday night.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference at Ryton, Thorn said: “These are two tough away games now that we have to get something from. These are a massive four games for us and if we can come out of the positive we leave it with it all to play for.

"Its important we get something out of both games. We want to take the home form away with us.

"Watford will want to win the game no matter what. We know what they're about, Sean (Dyche) has done a good job there.

“We need to go into the game and override them. Players like Iwelumo and Deeney, we know what their strengths are so we need to impose ourselves on the game.

"These two games coming up are the type where not too much is expected and then you go and surprise people so we are going to give it everything we've got. Its important we pick something up from these games."
