Yeah. If I rob you and get found guilty can you go to jail for me? I really wouldn’t like to be inconvenienced you see.

all boils down to them knowing they did a shady deal and still worried it will come back to bite them

if only we could get planning permission on a new stadium, once we dont need them anymore it would be huge factor in us moving forwards.

cant butts overule council? or is a issue with safety routes etc?

And it also suggests that they did know about the complaint before Lego head broke the story yesterday.
Be great to have Reads story validated by another source.

Am i being naive but why on earth did Sisu not make this complaint as a third party complaint using an organisation not related to Otium or SBS&L
surely if that had taken place then wasps and the council would have had nowhere to go as the complaint would have been made by someone else
just a thought !

I don't think SISU have any power over what is found by the committee in Europe do they? They just pointed them in the direction to investigate it.
I think the point HDW was making was that if the EC find there was state aid, the UK courts can force Wasps to pay the shortfall. If that happens, there may be a stronger case in civil court for SISU to go after Wasps and/or Council for financial loss.

Why would they request indemnity when apparently Wasps and CCC have done nothing wrong? What do they think the EC is going to find in their investigation?

It does, unless they managed to discuss it with CCFC in the space of a couple of hours after finding out and then "calling off" the talks.

I reckon more will come out from it, there's not a chance Wasps didn't know about it until Gilbert mentioned it.

We don't know who actually filed the complaint do we? Just that a complaint has been made.

Completely unrealistic and an implicit acceptance that something may be amiss. Why haven't they go their own indemnities with the council?

You mean for when they bought a stadium lease that was the subject of legal action? It's not as if it would be obvious they would need something like that.

Well one assumes that it must be someone to do with Sisu or else they they might have been in the situation of denying that it was Otium or anyone related to CCFC
i dont know the answer but its not a great leap of faith to suggest that it was Otium

It appears that searches of the EC website only give hits on cases that are being investigated fully (i.e. not preliminary investigations which is probably what is happening currently), so we can't see that info now.

It's a different scope mate. They will look at if an unfair advantage was given to wasps over anyone, not just sisu. Ffs this has been pointed out to you multiple times yet you keep posting the same thing. What did you say the definition of madness was again?

Ahh well. That’s that then. Onto the groundshare it is. Whoever’s At fault, it’s up to the fans to realise it’s them who keep the club alive.

We’ve got to do our best to attract the fans to wherever it is.

Fucking Wasps, no intention of doing a deal. Fuck them. Hope the EC investigation somehow costs Wasps a load of money and you know what...I don't even like the Ricoh anymore.

I doubt it'll happen, but I really would love us to build our own ground.

I'll struggle to travel to most games unless we do end up at the Butts or Rugby which I doubt but I'll be getting a season ticket anyway.

The Butts? Absolutely no chance of that. It's going to be a ten thousand or under stadium. Plus CRFC are too astute these days.
