My missus heard that and was astonished that a caller was basically being told off and not to go there. I feel a touch uncomfortable with Clive’s position at times with wasps and there is no doubt listening to anyone I speak to that Clive is not quite in touch with how the Coventry public feel about wasps and doesn’t want a discussion on the topic on air?

Obviously Clive will deny this but there is no doubt many listeners feel the same.

I like Clive he is very good at football commentary and we should appreciate him more at times but I wish he wouldn’t jump at the caller when he disagrees.

That’s his only negative I feel.
I think he’s awful at various times on Saturday we were

Bobby Bridge from the heart:

The darkest day in Wasps' history.

Well, let us digest that statement.

We were expecting Wasps to go into administration, but the most shocking line is that 'joint Administrators were required to make 167 employees redundant, including all members of the playing squads and coaching staff'.

This was the worst-case scenario for fans of the club, and for those employed by Wasps.

They are now out of work. Everything that was built by head coach Lee Blackett and his group, is now in ruins.

Young men whose dreams of playing in black and gold, crushed.

Men and women who depend on the club to pay their bills, now without an income.

The vast majority of these employees live in the real world financially. Modest incomes without great pools of reserves. This isn't football, the rewards in rugby are far, far smaller.

As the statement says, it's a dark day. The darkest in Wasps' history.

And the biggest tragedy of all. I will have to pay for a Rugby Shirt from now on

Quick question. If Wasps 'other'/ACL 2006 or whoever is trying to sell the lease in the next 10 days succeeds in doing so, where will that money go? Can it be used towards a new Wasps, or is it Richardson who gets it? Extra daft question - won't it be owed to the Council,? I'm confused.

I love that the standard wasps line is “can’t wait for you to get relegated”

that may be - but at least we’ll get to watch our club in league one 😂😂😂

Well fuck them. At least we’ll see us getting relegated on the pitch!

A joke, before I get shot.

Even now they can't stop themselves having a little dig at football.

Maybe if there isn't big financial rewards it wouldn't be sensible to get in £100m of debt. Maybe it's the decision makers fault and not the football boogeyman.

I feel bad for the people who've been made redundant, apart from the netball team who would take an age to clear their training stuff when we've clearly got the hall from half past.
You should have just turned up at twenty past dressed like your avatar. The netball team would have been out of there fast enough.

If they were including things like stewards in the number and they're already been employed by another company then that brings the number down. Add in the players who are already reported to be on the verge of signing with other clubs and wonder what the more realistic number for people actually out of work now is.

Stephan Vaughan just on SSN - anyone able to confirm what he's saying?

"Without the pandemic we were on course to be the biggest club of any sport in the whole world, no not the world the universe"

Vulgaris immediately believes him and says told you so to all the doubters

Probably a daft question, but why have joint administrators been appointed ? Is it that much of a mess ?
