So Dom Hyam wasn’t sold for cash flow reasons then?

No I just don’t take at face value what people say to try and make a situation look better than it is.

We said we had a deal to get the pitch relaid which wasn’t in any agreement at all was it?

No but you are taking a rumor you heard to try and make it look worse.

Using your own logic of something being fact because Mike Ashley "didn't deny it" then I assume you will do the same and wait for acl to deny ccfc paid for it?

Walsall. I just don’t get it.

Yes, we can all assume that not many will go. But let’s say, by way of weird protest, 12000+ turned up ST in hand. What are you gonna do now?

I honestly don’t know anymore. I just can’t see these new owners spending money buying wasps holdings, leaving the cbs and their training centre and just been like yeh don’t know where we gonna play or train next season. If they risked losing the ground to new owners although simon says it’s income they still might not want them there. They don’t have a guarantee that new owners would rent it to them. So they must be confident in being the preferred bidder if it went into admin.

This combined with the defeat yesterday, the transfer embargo and potentially playing at another home ground…it ain’t half hard supporting this club at times. You just think when are we ever gonna catch a break!

I still wouldn’t change it for the world though. Be boring supporting anyone else.

The new owners also include the owner of the training ground.

In the end I see all of the hierarchy of both clubs virtually identical

Richardson and Seppala - two publicity shy owners who strangely occasionally pop up when some good news is on the cards and attach themselves to a myriad of ownership structures to protect their interests

Eastwood and Fisher - two slime balls who have condescending arrogant personalities who will do anything to represent their leaders

Vaughan and Boddy - footsoldiers who take in their leaders nonsense and deliver it to the fans - generally poorly communicated and usually not even credible to be believed

Apols I meant it as if the new owners of ACL weren’t the consortium that’s agreed a deal to buy wasps like Gilbert’s saying in his tweet.

I don't see any advantage of a new independent owner having both teams within the arena .
It would lose any gain's of having the football team being leached away to the rugby operation.
Think when we had one stand open etc.
Playing on the pitch would require more repair/maintenance etc .

I'm fact I wouldn't sign up to play on it if it wasn't sole use.

exactly what I said the other day backed up by the club today. Along with Walsall being the ground being spoken about as our alternative. Yet according to most on here. I don’t know what I’m talking about and make things up. and you wonder why genuine people who know stuff don’t bother posting on here.

Yeah crazy right and actually the home end only holds 9,300 with 2K away end. We took nearly 5K to Burton for the crap cup so they can’t just expect and basically hope 9K don’t turn up.

I think the point was the capacity is smaller than our season ticket holders so how are they going to work it

No idea yet. We will find out.
No doubt more cash flow issues.

Plenty of refunds due to acl and wasps

When Blues had to close parts of their ground and couldn't accommodate all their ST holders the had to allow one block of ST holders in for one game, then another block for the next, maybe they've got something like that in mind, though hopefully this isn't going beyond 1 game.

SISU won't be buying anyone anyway.

So much for running the club at break even.

Can't wait for us to be the answer to a question on the Chase in a few years:

"Which football club played 'home' games at 5 different venues in 20 years?"

Likely to be 6 by the end of the week.

There are other potential tenants who would be a better fit, would eventually draw bigger crowds and wouldn't wreck the pitch... Cov Women for example.

Yep gets me wondering if they were compelled to release this statement or if this sort of thing can just go on unreported as long as payments are met?

Could it be a calculated release to hammer home that CCFC have been negatively affected financially by Wasps ineptitudes

Or could it be the club need to get all financial info out in the open pre take over on Monday

We still wouldn’t even come close to being the worst offenders - I can think of at least one other team who’s had more home venues (albeit not in this country).

The fact we've just asked HMRC for time to pay is very very bad news. I'm usually quite blasé about things but that shows that SISU aren't prepared to fork out even to appease the government. If they imagine things will be fine in the coming months they why wouldn't they cough it up short term? Dodgy as hell

It’s actually amazing how much you have in common with some of your Wasps counterparts on their forum once shit starts hitting the fan with our own club. Proper Springfield vs Shelbyville stuff.

I just can't see it being viable long-term for Wasps to stay in Cov. It has been demonstrated that interest isn't there to sustain the CBS, even when times are calmer. Factor in the backlash if they do get control of the stadium again and it would be a disaster.

As Cov fans we have been conditioned to fear the worst. I fully expect us to get shafted

There won’t be much of a backlash - even when they first moved to the city there was general apathy from our fanbase with some even congratulating them as it was getting one over on SISU.

Presumably existing STs won’t be honoured and they’ll sell tickets on a game-by-game basis with the usual priority scheme applying. (I can sense a whole new supporter points category coming along)

Different situation now. Far more people engaged in the situation. Cov sitting in a higher league. They won't be able to pull the charm offensive, free ticket bollocks again.

All that aside I just can't see how any new owners would want to keep them here when it's a great chance to reset back in London. Considering they are starting off again in the championship there will be no better time to move back and grow again. Groundshare with a smaller London football club. Makes way more sense than rattling around a stadium with 25000 empty seats

Anybody who buys the CBS sure has hell wouldn't be doing it for the football team. We would be a distraction.

I can't think anyone looking at buying a football stadium would merely see the football club as a distraction. That would be most bizarre.
