Although, we have had bustling stadium days, and people didn't come back... Maybe "successful bustling stadium days" is more appropriate? Even so, the "experience" is something many have said before should be improved at CCFC matches, but others shoot it down and say all they want to see is the sky blues..

Needs a series of them though, one-offs won't work.

Wasps recognise that, hence the concerted effort. Financially, it's undeniably risky. Culturally? I'd say rather less so.

The most pertinent and sickening number in all that is the £48.5 million valuation of the Arena ?!

My friend also pointed out some of their recent high profile salaries won't show in these accounts either, so expect costs to rise in that area at least, come the next set.

Very good point NW. A fair few additions to the squad, and two very expensive marquee signings this year, with one Kurtley Beale out with a serious knee injury. How unfortunate.

They lost a few but the incomings including the two marquee signings and players like Cipriani are going to cost a lot more.

Thats because Sisu have no logic and reason.
No plan and a vain hope that Wasps fail and Sisu continue 'the plan'
Good luck with that one.

I know your reply above was to another poster but I just wanted to check a couple of things.

You do know it isn't conditional that if you dislike Wasps you love SISU.
You do realise you can hope both Wasps and SISU fail
You do know that there is grey as well as black and white
You do know the world is round and you don't need a tin foil hat all the time?

Are we sure that Richardson's first name is Derek. Some of what's going on sounds a bit familiar.

You can't get them all the time so if you get 'hooked' and want to go to every game you need to pay.

Yes you can.

I know somebody who gets 4 a match, it is easy to get freebies if wanted. Last couple of years it has been a case of walking into a school reception and asking for them.

Probably a cousin twice removed, and with more fingers than most people on his hands.

Just replying to those fans that want Wasps to fail because we have failed.
If Wasps fail there is no guarantee that Sisu could, or would want to buy the Ricoh.
The reason I say these things is that IMHO CCFC survival relies on Wasps success and improved working relationship with them.

Its a joke. Compare and contrast. One of these companies reported a £1.9m loss, the other £3.8m.

Coventry City FC accounts show losses halved after Ricoh Arena return
The club suffered an operating loss of £1.9million in the latest accounts, down from £4.4m previously

I think the "partnerships" and politics is getting a bit too obvious.

It's probably why things like the petition slowed down, it's too transparent.

I don't want wasps to fail because CCFC under sisu have failed.
I want then to fail because I vehemently disagree with what they have done, especially in moving wasps 90 miles from their home, same as I vehemently disagreed with sisu moving us to Northampton.
As far as sisu owning the Ricoh, the only benefit I would see for CCFC is if that allowed sisu to off load the club to decent owners.

I'm sorry but I have grandchildren at 4 different schools and 3 of my close friends are either teachers or assistants and that's clearly not the case.
One of them has a son who takes his family up as season ticket holders.
If you want to go to every game you will need to get a season ticket or be very close to those issuing out the free tickets, which may be where this urban myth comes from.
It's certainly not the case of walking into reception at my friends school as when they do get tickets they are in short supply and controlled my the headmistress.
Sometimes you need to look at the figures and work out that the first season must have had loads of tickets but they are now being reigned in as ticket incomes increase and crowds declined during season 2 but appear to currently be rising in season 3.

Take it from me a lot of fans do travel and would disagree with you.
A lot North and East of London say it's easier to get to than Wycombe.
They make a day of it at and that's probably why Wasps try to plan events before and after the actual match.

Like I said, if there are multiple places you can get them easily if 1 doesn't have them.

If the school doesn't have any going, there are other places if you wanted them for free.

Which schools were they?

You need to move to Rugby, Freebies every week, but most not taken up.

I know people who could every week for free but they don't, and thankfully know only two (non CCFC fans) who have gone back for more suffering.

Italia must be looking in the wrong places. A bundle of tickets for every game turns up here and pretty much every game remains sat on a desk untouched.

Are they mad? Only ever been to Adams Park for football but its a very short train journey from London and then a shuttle bus is provided to and from the ground.

Personally I don't agree with the Wasps presence in Cov at all, I hope they flop. It certainly doesn't mean I want SISU to ever get hold of the Ricoh either. The local population has to accept some responsibility for the failure of CCFC and for the relatively poor support of their own rugby team CRFC. The numbers are there in the background without doubt but are famed for bandwagon jumping with a sniff of success. I guess much of that is to do with the precarious financial and playing fortunes of both sides recently though. Wasps much to the chagrin of many including me are offering that whiff of success to a 'glory starved' local sporting population. SISU's role has been largely devious, scheming and incompetent in all this and CCC's role has been nothing short of traitorous and vengeful.

But it is the Directors' valuation this year as they consider it hasn't changed from last year.
Why did they not have a revaluation as stated in Prospectus
Would love to see the comparable calculations

No doubt we could look around for free CCFC tickets, but we don't for the same reasoning.

I don't look, and my workplace is not typical sporting demographic but... even I can get free tgickets should I want them!

A couple of dear old ladies with a blue rinse were toddling off a while back, just because it was free.

Look, the merits or otherwise of the strategy can be discussed (personally I think to build a fanbase you have to get them in in the first place, so free tickets is the loss leader - others disagree) but denial that it happens makes you look a bit...

Or are you just miffed because you actually paid for yours?

Ref point 3.
I'm saying Wasps are the solution because they will be the ones giving the long term deal to the club who are unable to provide or finance their own stadium.
If they fail we fail. IMHO

I've had free tickets (First Season) but my several contacts can't get them for most matches.
It seems to be on a rota system.
It defeats the objective if anybody can get them free all the time.
Once I enjoyed it I paid for a season ticket
