I don’t think the number who actually pay to go has ever changed much from that

In the long term I think the council has played a blinder in regard to protecting its own interests in the Arena. They've effectively sold the lease twice for a cumulative total of £40m which is quadruple their actual net investment in building it.

Not sure if anyone has ever had the 'pleasure' of meeting him but he couldn't lie straight in bed.

A series of one of issues like not reaching finals aren’t these becoming regular issues now?

The weather doesn’t look great today for their showpiece game hopefully the attendance will be affected.

Was it Eastwood who turned up to a Trust meeting when there were rumours we were being kicked out of our dressing room and would no longer have use of the warm up area? Completely denied it only for the club to confirm it the next day.

Glad to see Cov have a decent crowd as Wasps once again break their promise not to have matches clashing with CRFC.

Would have been 3301, but the GLW didn't fancy me taking her up the Butts this afternoon.

Still, nice to see a Cov win and a thoroughly nice afternoon.

They were all too busy queuing in the fanzone for a complementary Wasps rusty tea towel holder to take a picture during the game.

hell will freeze over...

All well and good but it puts the Council's cash at risk, doesn't it? Why not let a private investor take the risk and protect the taxpayer? I am guessing that the councillors looked at the risk against the reward of the interest payments boosting the council coffers; combined with their own...
