I was referring to my earlier comment when I thought a player only good enough for a Div2 2nd XI turns up and takes wickets
Separate point nice to see another England youngster given a chance today (Smith 18yrs old for Surrey) rather than another kolpak or 40 year old.

It is one of the few sports where a player can come from nowhere and have a big game and then seem to disappear again.

Ye of little faith. 142 - 0 at close (still all out by lunch tomorrow ).
Maybe it's just a duff pitch.
Genuinely can't think of any county side ever having injury issues like us atm. Down to 5th/6th/7th choice bowlers opening bowlers.
