just looking through the County ins and outs. Really average group of players in CC again this season. Days of interesting overseas players for long form cricket long gone.

Clinging to faint hope that (like last season) youngsters improve through season. Much of early part of last season we were hammering the openers but certainly had grown into by end of season

Think Patel only bowler playing from that 2nd game. 1st game we threw away with a poor 1st innings though Belly did look like he could win it in the 2nd.Thing Kent came up as well and the bears turned them over in the process.

For now just got to compare 3,4,5 batters atm. Way down on experience. Bell going to be a huge miss for now.
Warks recruited badly in all forms for several seasons. Got "lucky" with the 2 openers as they've ended up there by default.
Out of the so-called big counties very much 2nd class atm. Just don't seem to be able to compete in the market atm.When the big ones come up we seem to miss out like Clarke who went from Worcestershire to Notts. They seem to be waiting for the return of Moeen Ali to sort it out

Difficult. Seamers been inconsistent over last couple of seasons. Still a side often bailed out by batsmen.Wood and Willey have also come out against it for obvious reasons. The batsmen have been talking him up a lot recently. He'll be in the squad but I don't think I'd include him. If it's not broke don't fix it and all that.
