Too right, Jacko. You can't win 'em all. Overall we've had a good season and that's the worst we've been since September. Hardly the end of the world.

Not surprised. Got a bit heated towards the end. All started when Westcarr went to take a corner and was booked for goading the fans / time wasting. And that set off the chavvy City fans! Wonder how many of them would behave like that on a street with Police presence

I agree Torchy. The season went better than anticipated with the start we had, and it was bound to catch up with us at some point. Time to prepare for next season i say

Edit: minus the offfield problems.

Good season? Are you for real? Lost at home to Carlisle, Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe along with drawing against bury and Pompey and Colchester!!!! That for me is a poor season

We haven't really had a good season though have we, we should be making at least the play offs in this league. The standard of teams in this league is dire

Record away wins. One player scored 21, one player has scored 17 and one midfielder 14. Hardly poor.

The points deduction was a kick in the teeth tbf. The standard is poor but its a tougher league than most expected. Without it, we were close to the play offs but as our season is over its making no difference

Plus take off the start of season and the deduction we would be right up there challenging, we've had a run in the JPT, late come backs, lots of goals.

Depends which way you look at 'good' tho it's been exciting but not successful however the players aren't at fault for the lack of succes so yes I'm with Torchy it's been a good season

Because of a ten point deduction. Also, a record home crowd at the Ricoh.

We are where we are and I think despite all the problems off the field then I think it has been far from a poor season.

Still though we were never in the play offs, add on the ten points and we are in 10th and 5 points away still.

We've had some great matches, especially away and if we had kept McG and Robins and not conceded the 10 points then who knows but overall for this football club its been a disaster. We will finish with the instability and uncertainty that we started it with.
Do you think one day we'll actually have a season that doesn't start with a transfer embargo, keep a performing manager for the duration, don't lose our best players around the New year mark and don't have the threat of financial obliteration from start to finish !!

Even without the deduction we would still only be upper midtable

But the players were deflated at Portsmouth after the deduction so that could have been a win then it's 2 points away and that would have motivated them today so could easily have been a different story if it hadn't been for the deduction

Even without the 10 point deduction, we've never managed to put a good enough run together to breach the play offs. We'd be 5 off 6th who have a game in hand.

The 15 games under Robins and Mcgoldrick before Christmas have been the highlight of the season amongst a season of rubbish

I'd say given the 5 different managers, poor start to the season and off field troubles, it certainly could have gone worse. You are gonna have some off days (and today was certainly one if them) but there has been some positives.

We'll obviously have to agree to disagree then as you're determined to tell us how poor we are. We'd be tenth, 5 points off the play-offs with a game in hand. Considering where we were in the table in September and we're on our fifth manager of the season...

According to fisher and waggott we had the 4th highest budget in the league. Should have been a better season full stop

And you seem determined to be celebrating us being in midtable in league 1

We wouldn't have a game in hand, teams in the play offs would have a game in hand on us

Pressley said our work ethic was great today
we lost it at certain moments
we were good in places.
we wanted to get forward.
but he never said that overall we were bloody shite

Had we not had dodgy owners who failed to react quick enough in sacking Thorn, allowing him to bring him 13 of his own players before sending him packing, and had we not had owners who have tried to defraud the system off the field, ending in admin, had we not had a manager walk out on us when things were looking up for us for a change, because of the dodgy way the business was being ran, things could have been better. Yet even with them, we've tried and tried to fight in this league, more so away from home rather than at home, and there has been lows, but it hasn't been dreadful.

And all of this has one common denominator: the owners

But isn't that more down to be relegated last season rather than this seasons performance?
