We’re playing for this season. Robins plays who he thinks is his strongest eleven on any given day. I rate Walker but Godden’s overall game is better. Walker will undoubtedly be involved but he’s not first choice if everyone’s fit. It’s just the way it is this season.. so far anyway. Who knows what happens beyond that.

It's hard to see him having much more patience to keep playing second fiddle when he's dropped after scoring twice in the week

You could say the same about every player everywhere who feels aggrieved, why the huge outpouring of concern now about Walker? That’s football, the manager makes the choice and yeah he may well go as a result, but if Robins prefers Godden that’s that isn’t it?

being mauled by you is like being knocked down by a feather duster - Tyler Walker is the most valuable asset of the two and scored two goals from open play in 2 games. He’s sharper he’s younger he’s the better player

Robins knows better. That’s what he bought Kelly on which cost is the win

You’ve been completely turned over, lost the argument, got all bent out of shape and resorted to trying to bait people.

Godden started because he’s a better player than Walker when he’s fit. You continuing to argue the point is as pathetic as your managerial suggestions.

Well the purpose of a forum is for debates such as this

We loan him out and we're left with just Waggy/Gyo/Godden

Scroll up. I said loan him and get a back up for Gyok in - a physical type.

If we’ve got Godden / Wag vying for one spot then fine. Tavares is an option there. JJ too at a push. Bapaga can be brought back if he carries on as he is.

Don’t miss the point: we’ve plenty of no 10’s and only one no9. If we have to loan out a 10 to get the £££ to get a backup 9 then it’s a no brainer to me.

Then debate It’s football- every player who feels they should be playing, there’s a risk they’ll go. And at this point MR prefers Godden, and Godden has a better record- in my opinion Godden has more to him. It’s a valid point about future seasons but we aren’t in a position to be thinking about years ahead

By working hard this is what I mean

Per 90

Godden wins more aerial duels , wins more ground duels and recovers the ball more .

Robins will be aware of these things as they have all the stats available to them

Well the point is not just 'he isn't happy not to start', it's more he's had the chance from Godden's suspension and done pretty well with it, then gets relegated back to the bench.

Matty godden overall career championship record

9 goals in 1876 minutes

1 goal every 208 minutes

Tyler walker overall championship record

It's in black and white lads

Neither are bad records tbh

Yes but do all of Godden's goals count?

Both good players at this level. I feel Godden is better now but Walker has more potential. Seems ridiculous that anyone feels the need to criticise either if them.

I am sure some ridiculous argument is going to be put forward soon to claim that Walker has indeed scored at a better rate.

Walker is ok but if we could get our money back in January or in the summer I would let him persue his career somewhere else.

If we have ambitions to jump another level he won't cut it !

He's been a hate figure ever since he came in. I think him snubbing us to go on loan to Lincoln is part of the reason. We have some odd fans who won't let things go.

I think we all know why people don’t think he’s putting a shift in.

ring of steel thinks he’s played 85 full games at this level

it’s disgusting

I'd hope its not the reason, Stern John certainly had to put up with the same crap so you could argue it looked a bit dodgy... until Sheaf came along, that bloke puts up with pure shite too.

Godden’ start was correct, won and scored the penalty, unlucky not to have a 2nd. Robins knew the team was tired from the 2 away trips, and Walker started both. Today was a perfect game for Allen’s energy, and Kane should of got the nod over Dabo for me.

yep - the thing is I never actually berate players really when at games - sometimes obviously you get a bit angry at specific things - I doubt I’ve abused biamou once at a game. The abuse Walker, sheaf and Kane get around me is terrible. Walker gets dogs abuse.
