Still no word from the EFL on live TV games that midweek
I've been waiting for news as well.

I doubt the day will change, perhaps they shift it to an 8pm kick off.

I just want them to put it on sale, as I need to get a friend a ticket near to our season ticket seats.

Hopefully they will confirm it tomorrow or Thursday.

All midweek games are locked in. Just decide which one to put at 8pm

So 3 of my Pompey pals have bought tickets. I emailed the club ticket office today to ask when they're going on sale and they said 3 weeks before. I pointed out that was today and they said, waiting on final confirmation of TV times etc. But surely that's done...why are Pompey selling?!

Anyway, do home games go to general sale first? I've never had an issue getting a ticket the last couple of seasons at home so just assume they went on general sale when I got them.

Hoping it'll be the same for this one? It's not like the away matches, points brackets first??

Honestly, I do think if you want a ticket for both Pompey and Wrexham you'll get one

I hope I’m just being paranoid but I think getting Wrexham tickets is going to be utter carnage. It’s a once in a generation match.

Which is why using the points system would be fairest.

But surely if you use the points system, those with the most points could just buy tickets for any old Johnny come lately.
If thats the case it shouldn’t be open to ST holders at all who obviously already have a ticket.
Obviously not. Points for non-STHs. STHs already have their match ticket.

Loyal ST holders should be allowed to price gouge fellow fans for a tidy profit IMO

Wouldn't suprise at all me they announce them next Wednesday after all the bank holiday fixtures then after the Wrexham Soton game
Why after the Wrexham v Southampton game? TV picks for the penultimate round of games are made 3 weeks prior which would be this Saturday.

Yes it is a pain I've checked serval times a day for the last week. Think for the final round of games Sky only gives 2 weeks notice ( although apologies if I've got that wrong )

But Pompey have had their tickets on sale for almost a week now. It's ridiculous.

I emailed the club shop and they said 3 weeks before the match...which was two days ago and they're still not on sale.

Maybe trying to squeeze every last seat to being made available. Some "non-hospitality" balcony seats etc. Also potentially applying the loyalty points to it and working out the fairest way.

Wrexham/Portsmouth aren't in the final week of games. Its three weeks notice for the penultimate round which would be this Saturday for Wrexham and 2 days ago for Portsmouth.

This is a good point... if they only sell 500 thats alot of empty seats so could move the netting maybe from the main stand around for more cov tickets
