Not entirely fair. Sisu have been awful for us fans surely we all agree? They have majorly messed up this club and letting vincelot go is another nail for some. That mixed in with fleck going and no where near a first team yet then frustrations are running high.

So Vincelot was sold without TM's consent was he? And I suppose SISU blocked TM's offer of a contract to Fleck? Nobody likes SISU KoK but ffs get real.

Vincelot wasn't even getting a game in midfield by the end of the season when our form recovered

Y'all crazy mother scratchers
Vincelot was okay , but he wasn't the greatest player we ever had
Since xmas he played( average) in just about every position on the pitch bar goalie
Fact
This time last year we had made 3(three) signings.
Fact
We bought a relegated league 2 player and just made a profit off him

What the fucking hell do you guys want in the team.
Fleck and vincelot were part of the failure last season , so you all wish they were Leif this season?
And all the bullshit tweets and pub conversations being taken as Gospel are equally as embarrassing .

I think if anything Mowbray should be getting more flack here than SISU. His footballing decisions have left us without JOB, Martin, Vincelot, Fleck (ok choosen himself not to sign a new contract.)

The point is, with just these four players mentioned, they were the most important out of last season (bar Armstrong and Stokes), and absolutely none of them have been replaced. Let alone the rest of the squad we have lost/need improving remotely looked into

People are saying 'in TM we trust'. I'm sorry, but I really don't trust him at all. Admittedly we were in a bad position this time last year, but having prepared for that, and accepted possible frustration, this years scenario just feels a whole lot worse.

Precisely! Why don`t we wait and see how this pans out before jumping to conclusions with zero evidence.
If TM did make this decision himself as he says, we surely have to rely on his judgement at this stage. After all he is the manager and stands or falls by his decisions and must have a clearer knowledge of the bigger picture than any of us.

Not really sure why you keep defending sisu for. I personally wasn't really having a go just explaining how people feel. We can't ever progress so whilst we offered fleck and vincelot chances to stay we also know they have both moved on to rival clubs on double and treble their wages. This is why I am annoyed. I also see any decent player sold for decent money and never really put back in the team and that's also cause for concern.

I said I will trust TM he said its part of a plan. Let's hope so.

Interesting comments from Kieran Crowley.

I alluded to this too that maybe TM wanted to go in a different direction.

This could have been the plan all along, have players lined up and the minute Vincelot is sold the players he does want come in, come in.

Let's give the manager a chance to formulate his plan. Yes, there's only two weeks to go, but we have no idea what has been going on behind the scenes and it could well be we have been waiting on either Vincelot or Bradford here rather than it be down to Sisu or Mowbray.

If Crowley is right we should now see a new style and team emerging and coming together.

More skill and pace rather than Vincelot's slowness and physicality?

Martin went. Where is his replacement? And the other defenders we need to replace Reda, Stevens, Turner, Cargill?

I'm sorry, but this shit cannot be sugar coated.

bang on mate, I cant undertand this love in with Mowbray, whats he done for the last 6 years? did well at west brom but left in 2009, since then he has flatterd to deceive, had a worse record at celtic than john barnes and then did pretty much the same with middlesbro as he did with us last season, great start then fall away.

One of our problems last season was that Fleck and Vincelot lacked pace. Individually they were good players but together they lacked the mobility that modern teams have in the centre of midfield. I suspect in an ideal world Mogga would have kept Vincelot for the squad but if he had decided he wasn't part of his starting 11 then I don't blame him for cashing in and investing the money on a forward or centre half.

What have City done in the last 20 years? Mowbray has given us the best season in ages even with a post Christmas collapse. In fairness he did warn the fans when they were all getting carried away. Building a team is a slow business. I am frustrated and perhaps slightly bemused by the Vincelot sale. But time will tell. I would settle for a slower start with a stronger finish this time. We have terrible owners. No assets. Very little money. It's a test of Faith for sure, but lets just see how things go.

Gutted when I heard this particularly after losing fleck. We desperately needed some Steele in the midfield and we were certainly a weaker side without him. Getting worried now

Luke Steele could be a good shout. Probably better than Ricketts in defence too! Doubt he'd leave Panathinaikos for us though!

According to reports TM spent time talking to a small bunch of people and said Vincelot had asked to leave and was doubling his money in the process.. cant blame the guy good luck to him now lets see what evolves.. and everyone calm down

Remember that 50% of us wanted Mogga sacked due to the epic decline in form since Christmas.

If anything, Mogga is in last chance saloon area...

Anything but promotion this year is a failure.

The pressure is on Mogga to get this right.

Vincelot will be 31 in October, only got half a season of form from him, made a profit on him, potentially replace with a mid 20s player...l

I'm actually thinking this could be a master stroke by Mogga...

He's just an average league one plodder, outdone by the next Walsall, Gillingham or MK Dons youth team midfielder to come thru, move on.

If it wasn't for the unknown entity(Arma) in the first two and a half months scoring goals for fun until the opposition sussed him out, we would have imho been fighting off relegation. Reminded me of the hornet Mifsud. Scored 22-23 goals before being sussed out, then scored only a handful the following season, then disappeared into the ether.... This in no way is saying ARMA wasn't any good.

If he was only that, promotion favourites Bradford wouldn't have bought him surely and he would have gone to one of the lesser clubs.

He is a good player, but did have a poor end to the campaign last time out for sure.

It started with the Northampton cup game. Worth noting that it was also our first game with CA at the club. Also worth noting that we also made our first substitution that day at the exact time a certain football statistics "experts" claims to be the optimum time to make a substitution.

Not saying he turned up, interfered with on field decisions, rocking the boat and causing a downturn in form but there are indicators.

We were unbeaten in November and only drew two. December was a little more mixed. But the results really fell away after Burton defeat. I will stick with post Christmas.

So Northampton defeat in the cup, throwing away a 2-0 lead at the end of Oct against Swindon, throwing away the lead twice againstDonny, beaten at Sheff utd 1-0. Don't count? Most people like yourself would look at the obvious 7 defeats in 9 games and say that is when it started, but the wheels were coming off way before Christmas. I will stick with, "It started well before Christmas.(My Opinion)

Well I'm personally disappointed about this. Thought he was one of our better players last year.

I appreciate that TM may want to go in a "different" direction, and perhaps his recent statement about having to sell before we buy anyone else is his way of preparing us for this (or satisfying SISU), but FFS Tony you keep fiddling and fiddling and changing your mind. WTF was the point of even buying players last year if you now want to turn left instead of right?

You may as well scrap the whole team, start with a blank canvas, and then ask the paymasters how much money they will squeeze out of the sponge. Can we get Derren Brown to come on the radio and wipe out last year, so we can all start trusting Tony again.

You can select blips from where ever you like in any season. The fact remains at the end of December we were as well placed as anybody.

Check my posts if you want, I wasn't one of the ones saying promotion was a given. I was saying we had the chance to kick on and develop. Walsall and Burton were key matches and we just didn't rise to the challenge. We still had plenty of opportunity to get back in the saddle, it just didn't happen. Post Christmas form did our legs.
