If Liverpool sell Nunez it will be similar money to get Vik.
Much rather he went to Liverpool than Man Ure.

A Liverpool move makes little sense for him. He has significant main character energy and needs to be the focal point of a team’s attacking options. He won’t be that at Liverpool. Ever. At Arsenal he has the chance to be their missing number 9 and surrounded by star midfielders; at Manchester United (or elsewhere) he could demand that the team change their style to play to his strengths.

Feels like a good time to share that my first football kit was Liverpool's and that they've been my second team ever since... 🤷🏻

No need to bring that up - so take your clothes off and beat yourself with birch twigs for 15 minutes - that should make you feel better about it

Think you need to go back and read through the thread, people have answered your questions before you asked them.
You asked a question today at 10oclock asking why people hate Liverpool. I was responding to this message. No need to read back through irrelevant posts as i asked you a direct question

It's not about hating a team because they're successful. For me, it was more that growing up as a teen in the early 90s at school, all my mates were Utd fans and were insufferable. The derision directed to me as a Cov fan whilst they were cleaning up all the trophies, truly p!ssed me off.

I'm loving this implosion they've been having over the last few years as I can just imagine how those school friends are feeling seeing numerous other clubs win silverware whilst they plummet down the table and fall apart off the pitch. It's a sort of 'karma' like feeling I guess.

I've never called them manure either (but I know that wasn't directed at me) - that's playground stuff.

As for Liverpool, I was a fan of there's before switching to follow my Kenilworth born step-dad in the mid-80s so I don't mind them. I know a few scousers and they're decent folk as well.

I wonder how much his behaviour recently will make other clubs think "if he is going to act like that, what may happen if he gets upset here?" and then look again at Isak, Sesko, Omishen?

All the perceived issues around his behaviour seem to be centred on his desire to get the transfer he wants & on his terms, on the playing side he always seems fully committed & a model professional.

I doubt that would seriously concern any suitors as his next move is likely to be his last, certainly big move anyway,,,,saying that, if he say moved to Liverpool & scored 40 goals next season 🤔 I’m sure Real Madrid and Co would be showing a keen interest.

It's got to though. If there are other options who aren't threatening to go on strike and these options have scored more goals in better leagues and/or are a lot younger they look more appealing.

He was an idiot for believing a club would let him go cheaply without trying to extract maximum value from him.

But none of the above have scored anything like the numbers Vik has, arguably two of them play in a better league & one of them is only 22, the others aren’t that much younger.

All 3 play in a better league. Even if you question the Turkish league for Oshimen he's played and proven himself at a higher level of football than Vik

But if we’re going to talk about players being arseholes - isn’t the reason Oshimen is in Turkey because he pissed off Napoli
Wasn't the the issue that the club need to sell him but his move to Saudi fell through after the club asked for more and then he said no to a move to Chelsea.
