Difficult really with the stance he and Sporting have taken though. He clearly wants to leave and I think he'll push through a move.
Somebody has to be willing to pay a decent fee for him though.
If Sporting decide they have really big bollocks and hold out for over 65/70 mil (which I don't think anyone will pay) he'll still be there when the window closes.
He'll be very stubborn and would harm his career if he then decided not to play!

It's not an easy decision and given his record, and really the lack of available strikers currently out there which aren't being touted for £100m+, they'll want to maximise the fee within the realms of what they deem as realistic.

However, lets be honest we live in an age where more often than not the player will get what he wants. While it could of course harm his career, it could equally harm Sporting's chances of receiving a bumper fee and they'll want to ensure they make a healthy profit.

What is clear is Gyokeres is not a must have number one target. They have been linked with him so long yet still exploring other options.

Other Premier League Clubs have toyed with the idea rather than swooped. There is obviously question marks around something?
But that's part of the game also, keep his price down, maybe that offer from juve is actually where he should be.

I think there has been no offers, inquiries maybe? Then just loads of media bollocks

I think he’ll end up in Italy.

The only two realistically that would be able to afford him are Juventus and possibly Napoli.

Juventus have Vlahović and want to bring back Kolo Muani. Albeit the former has been linked with a move away this summer.

Napoli need to move on Osimhen, but will still have Lukaku - although he's aging and half-rumoured to be linked with a move away to Saudi.

A lot can happen between now and deadline day but it's clear it's not a simple situation and there's so many moving parts at play.

“Any Saudi Pro League Club” 💀

Also my bet tbf. Sort of league he could bully his way to 40 goals a season and him, us, and most importantly his agent receive a fat wedge. Win win win.
