If there's been some sort of handshake agreement and now Sporting are trying to derail his transfer then I can understand him being very pissed off. That's a very different situation to just deciding out of the blue that he wants to go and then essentially going on strike when Sporting don't step aside and let it happen.

Also hard to have too much sympathy with Sporting when they essentially did the same to us. Seemed that Vik and his agent were only interested in going to one club and we could easily have done what Sporting are doing now.

Current market value by the way: a) not what value was “shaken hands” on last season and certainly not b) whether value his agent decides is appropriate
