I read that, not sure who he is though..If it's true Ranson is obviously willing to sign him seeing as he was his guest in the exec box for the WBA game.

According to sources on Merseyside, Victor Anichebe has no intention of leaving Everton in this transfer window.
The forward, who was spotted at the Ricoh Arena for Coventry City's game against West Brom on Saturday, had been the target for the City rumour mill of a possible loan to City.
However, sources on Merseyside who have spoken to the Nigerian international's agent are saying that his agent knows nothing about any interest from any other clubs and that Victor had no intent on leaving Everton in this transfer window and that he was at the Ricoh to watch his mate Lukas Jutkiewicz.
