YEah, I reckon it'll still be the Ricoh. I hope so.

Yes, I was and I'm sure we still will be. Others wanted us locked out. Not me.

That's a marked change from your stance only a few days ago, buddy, when you were adamant that we would still be at the Ricoh.

Any reason for this, Torchy? Any inside info?

Well wherever it is it needs to be soon or else we'll have Doncaster fans trolling on here in no time.

ACL won't lock them out, as that would imply they accept the rental lease has ended. Part of SISU's tactics in putting CCFC Ltd into admin are an attempt to void that agreement.
I think if they'd succeded in moving the golden share then they'd have liquidated CCFC Ltd.

The questions that need answering are.
1) Will the Football League allow them to fufill remaining fixtures elsewhere
2) If the club play at the Ricoh while CCFC Ltd is in admin, does that mean the administrator accepts the lease agreement is valid. I'm sure Joy wouldn't want that to happen.
3) Will the Football League allow the Golden Share to be transferred.
4) As the Golden Share is CCFC's main asset then what is it worth & who can buy it?

ACL are being extremely generous in not locking us out. Remind us please which party stopped paying the rent, reneged on the lease and moved out of the ground of their own accord?

If I was ACL I would lock us out in a heartbeat and petition the FA to refuse permission for CCFC to move grounds mid-season.

NOTE to idiots: clearly this would force SISU to back down, this is not "i want us to fold".

Not really, if they did then the rent lease would be broken & they would not have a contract with their tenant (CCFC).

I think that it is broken anyway. I think SISU even stated that they have severed it.

I am guessing because CCFC is the leaseholder then SISU have moved that company out to assist the administrators. I think as PWKH has said there is a 14 day grace period so it wasnt necessary for Fridays game but there you go.

In theory it is CCFCH that needs to use a ground. What this means is that CCFCH can make separate arrangements to use a stadium on a match basis with the agreement of the FL. That way the administrator can claim he does not have to pay for CCFC Ltd to use it. ACL have said they are happy for the football club to use it (which minimises disruption for the fans first and foremost) so I suspect it is a matter of agreeing a fee (if a fee is to be charged). Makes ACL look reasonable and fair in court too. So if SISU take us to use a n other ground then who is taking the club away, disrupting things for fans, messing the FL around etc...... ACL or SISU ?

I suspect the game will be at the Ricoh but contingency arrangements (coach transport etc) for a second venue are in hand also.

It wouldnt suprise me is the game was postponed due to the current situation and breakdown in communication

removing the shop / ticket office is a major step, showing SISU do not want to be at the Ricoh anymore

Tuesday is a big day, hopefully SISU are looking for an alternative venue, if the Roch is not on their agenda anymore, while they are still in charge of the club

not long left of the season.

if we still have a club, when next season starts we will probably still be in administration, so therefore another point deduction, administrations are long drawn out situations, dont be expecting a quick fix!!

Also, the Doncaster game is meant to be the day when International Supporters Day is being held. Nothing from the club about whether Walsall have facilities for this. Though, CCFC's thougthlessness in re-arranging the game to Easter Friday did see the secretary resigning in anger and frustration, as many people from overseas were travelling on the basis that the game would be on the Saturday.

The club would tell SBI well in advance of a change of venue...surely? Hhmm, perhaps not.

To be fair, executive box for 12 people works out £37.50 each. They throw in 3 car park passes, I'd say its pretty good value if 11 of your mates are up for it.

What rubbish.

Firstly, who on earth are ACL to petition the FA? Why would the FA deal with them at all?

Secondly, it is not 'clear' that locking the doors would force SISU to back down, what on earth gives you that idea? If it was so 'clear' then why don't ACL do it? They don't, because they don't doubt for one minute that if forced out in that way SISU would call their bluff.

Rubbish.

ACL were wetting themselves we really were going. They'd be floundering around not knowing what to do next.

They've fleeced the club for years. I hope if there is a buyer they insist on running the arena management themselves and kick this lot into touch.

They charge the highest rent from any council owned stadium other than Manchester city.

Apparently forest pay peanuts as well.

They have been equally responsible for this debacle.

I'm not sure how your comment was relevant to what I said, I was pointing out the fallacy of the argument that said SISU should be locked out because this was 'certain' to make them back down (and pay up). I don't believe that for one minute, do you?
