The 5000 passionate singers behind the goal have left their seats to protest in the concourse...

Does look impressive..

Would get people talking I guess. What they really need is a hill and a sketch of they muppets.

It does look really good though

Although having just been done, it does take away some of the newsworthiness!

Thing is... They were losing at the time, imagine if we were winning.
I couldn't imagine the same numbers leaving.

That is the danger.

That's why it'd need advance planning however.

looks more impressive than standing on the 'ill, real statement there and effective on the numbers!

they still only mentioned it ONCE on ITV4 and it didnt have the impact (not coming out after HT) as it would leaving half way through a match, singing

I very much doubt whether many of the 1500 'regulars' would do anything and certainly would not leave the ground.
The idea of just NOPMers paying Sisu to go in and stage something, isn't likely to attract enough support. Maybe a few will try and get on the pitch, fair enough.

So I'm afraid we are left with what we have now. Getting more on the hill for a talking point is probably the best that can be done.

Grendel, you may be right! Having now read the thread properly it seems to me:

•There is no consensus but the biggest theme is people see the initial plan as too tame and want disruption of varying degrees - that will appeal to part of the fanbase but the prospect of things being thrown onto the pitch, pitch invasions, police getting involved, fireworks going off etc, will deter others (including me!)
•With the Trust not getting involved, getting decent numbers will be very difficult
•The mass walkout idea requires thousands of fans to be persuaded to pay to go inside sixfields but there is no evidence on here of that happening (it's definitely the disruption option that seems to be gaining momentum on here)
•Wasn't watching the match back at the Ricoh suggested previously and was found not to be possible cos of broadcasting restrictions? One of the people proposing this option just needs to make a quick call to ACL to check this out and see if acl would be up for it

The good news is TurkeyTrot is an unsung hero and organisational genius - he was one of the masterminds behind the march and Broadgate rally. I guess there is also a question as to whether the anonymous advocates of disruption will actually do anything on the day, but what I really hope is people will respond to TT's post and back him.
