We are taking around 3K to MK on saturday me included, i could not help but think that, we have the biggest fan base in the league for example to an away game we are able to take 3k yet stevenage can only just about get above 3k to their home games and that's with away fans included.

Home attendances haven't been great but we have this group of what 8,000 who turn up to every game and again that's surely one of the biggest Home fan bases in the league.

Your thoughts on this?

We're 3rd in the home league attendance chart behind Sheffield united and Portsmouth.

i knew we weren't the highest as sheff utd got 22,000 at home yesterday with i assume 20,00 odd being their home support

We will have the 3rd biggest away following after that game, we probably have now, after Prestons last 2 efforts which have been alot lower than ours! We win Saturday i can see 15K for Shrewsbury, which would be a massive improvement!

I think the best we've had has been about 12K hasn't it? The Sheff Utd gate was the biggest I can remember this season.

I think we have such a good away following because it's a fun day out, noisy and exciting. Compared to the home games where I'm sat in a stand named after a supermarket, there's no atmosphere, the stewards tend to be arseholes and the away fans are miles away. I also love going to some of these older grounds, proper awaydays.

Also Sheff utd have been top or thereabouts all season. Think if we were top you could add another 2000 to home games. If we maintain our current form there will be a significant rise in our attendance as the season progresses.

There may well be a surprise gate against the Shrews - it is our only home game of the festive break, so if we can maintain the form and results on Saturday, it will be our biggest gate this season, I suspect....
