Problem is the academy league is under 18's, a lot of teams have now scrapped their reserve team but usually keep a batch of youngsters on the book until their 20-21. Most players aren't in the first team a 20, it just seems like it for us sometimes. hence why player like nimely and Norwood, cork, etc are sent out on loan to a lower league.
