Thought he'd have gone slightly higher. But fairly highly thought of and gives him 6 months now of mens footy to come back in Jan, and probably loaned higher for end of seasonKai Yearn joined Maidenhead on loan

Still in progress?Coventry City U21's 0 v 1 Swansea City U21's

Eccles played 45 minsProbably because we're sending all our good kids out on loan.
Weird isn't it. After the success of the summer it was a chance to hit the ground running but complete radio silenceU21s playing Blackburn tonight in Leamington. First I've heard. No idea why they are so bad at publicising these fixtures
Not even anything on the Leamington websiteWeird isn't it. After the success of the summer it was a chance to hit the ground running but complete radio silence
Heard he's gonna be pretty good too! They went one-nil up through George Shepherd a little while ago - his first at this level.
George is probably the youngest in the squad and was playing for the u16s until very recently.
He's the son of former Cov Rugby winger Ben Shepherd (and I know his mum and dad are pleased as punch!)
He's another Bilton School product alongside Josh Eccles.
He's promising enough. Plenty of time too, given his age. Some of the videos Ben shares are pretty impressive.Heard he's gonna be pretty good too!
Apart from removing the lads that were released, they haven't even updated the U21 or U18 pages on the website.Weird isn't it. After the success of the summer it was a chance to hit the ground running but complete radio silence
It’s on purpose. The club have decided to report as little as possible about the U21s and Youth team in some bizarre effort to stop youngsters getting poached.Weird isn't it. After the success of the summer it was a chance to hit the ground running but complete radio silence
Yeah it seems tactical doesn't it. Don't tell anyone Dausch has scored a goal as scouts are sitting on our Coventry academy handle awaiting updates! It’s on purpose. As if there aren’t scouts at every U18 and U16 game Cov will play all season long.
I know there's at least one, maybe two posters on this forum who have been asked to delete posts about the academy and academy games because the club claim it breaches safeguardingYeah it seems tactical doesn't it. Made his debut for the U21's last night at Leam. Came on as sub and did well. Drew 1-1. Hopefully a lot more to come.He did yep. I know his dad, that's why I was asking but not seen him for some time and not seen his name on the website. I assume he'd be first year scholar now but perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. Reckon he'd be about 16. He got to England U15 squad and some Cat 1's were after him so didn't know if he'd been poached. Hopefully he stays and makes it with us.
They have, but they are keeping it to themselves.Anyone got todays team and who scored
Currently leading Bournemouth 3-2 with a few minutes to go. Batanwi and Tolulawoju with first two. Third appears to be a penalty but don't know who scored it and no idea of team I'm afraid.Anyone got todays team and who scored
Batanwi sounded like he had a great game.Finished 3-2. Callum Perry with the third. They were 2-0 down after 38 minutes so a good comeback.
I noticed on the latest Unseen video that Batanwi was training with the first team so I assume they rate him highly and potentially see some involvement with the team at some point. Just a shame for him we are so heavily stacked in his position at the moment.Batanwi sounded like he had a great game.
Interestingly enough I commented on pusbyouth or whatever it is how its a shame Perry didn't get a loan, and his dad liked it.
It is odd how he came in and impressed pre season against two European teams and is now playing u21s again
Yeah good point. I was pleasantly surprised he was involved. He must be rated, everything I've seen clips of him he's absolutely rinsed his opposite full back when going forwardsI noticed on the latest Unseen video that Batanwi was training with the first team so I assume they rate him highly and potentially see some involvement with the team at some point. I do wonder if Non League teams can do the 'Youth' loan for a month still, might be a chance they go out and then come back. Bit like Luke Bell did last season.Batanwi sounded like he had a great game.

Yeah think they can. We've loaned some u18 to Weymouth for a month, Mantel i think hes called, CB and he's played full 90 for their first two games.I do wonder if Non League teams can do the 'Youth' loan for a month still, might be a chance they go out and then come back. Batanwi looks like he's getting back to fitness after his knee injury, good to see.
Hopefully another youth player coming through!
