Even better, get a poster to wear a heart monitor during a match. You should set up a live version of these to run alongside the match threads.
We'll need about another 10 poll options to cover all the mood stations, but it would be entertaining to watch.
Even better, get a poster to wear a heart monitor during a match.
If I was wearing one of the them during the match, I'm sure my lad would be calling St John's Ambulance over late in the game
Think that's the reason why though.Fans are so desperate to get to the premier league they forget to enjoy the journey. We have been a very good championship side for at least 4 years now. Stadium (that we own) is full every week and the city is full of sky blue tops. This seemed a fever dream 10 or so years ago.
Obviously it’s going to feel more and more stressful the closer we get to the end, but surely we HAVE to enjoy it. Not being dramatic but we’re not going to have a season like this (top of the league for pretty much the whole season) again for a lifetime. I’ve been watching the City for over 40 years and we’ve never had success like this in a competitive league. Next season, If we’re in the Prem I doubt we’d be battling for the title! And in the Championship it’s incredibly hard to do what we’ve done. Enjoy it peeps!
StrelaxedSomewhere between relaxed and stressed.
ThisI was looking forward to a weekend of not worrying about our result. Stressed tf.
They’re in big trouble with West Ham and Forest perking upDon’t think anyone would swap with these chaps
The *WHEN* we go down thread
Ok, if the worst happens (50/50 I'd say), which players do we want to keep, players who would fight to get the club back up to the PL? I'll start by saying the "must keeps" are Gray, Danso, Madders, Solanke, Porro. Who else?www.glory-glory.co.uk
Yes, but I still think we need to take something against Bristol City.
I’m finding it really difficult. If I can get to a game, I’m not so bad, I think being with like minded Coventrians eases the stress. But because I can’t get tickets to games, I’m watching on the tv and that is absolute hell. I’m kicking every ball and shouting at the tv, every time we lose the ball, make a misplaced pass….. it’s a couple of hours of hell! Funnily enough, I have a friend who’s a Blackburn fan, and he can no longer watch games on the tv. And when they’re playing he can’t bring himself to get the score in real time, he has to wait till he knows the game is over before peeking at the result. I’m not far off that myself - pathetic I know. I didn’t feel lie this in 1967, but my 12 year old self had the supreme confidence of youth…..
Relaxed when 2 or more ahead funnily more stressed at 1 goal ahead then drawing and depressed when behindRelaxed when winning, stressed when losing
This is awful. It's even worse if for some games you only have a combination of BBC CWR commentary and the messages in the match threads on here to refer to!
This is awful.
I get really irate with Gurney for how he pronounces Torp's name.
TorP.
I try to go on crowd noise as much as commentator to get an idea of what's going on.Danny Fox was pretty good earlier this season on CWR, but my blood pressure was through the roof as it was like sitting next to another supporter, and you'd hear him say "Oh God..." when Rob was halfway through a sentence.
Without being able to see the game, I couldn't tell if we'd conceded, given away a penalty or just given the ball away
