Tyler Walker (2 Viewers)

Offers absolutely nothing. Him and Biamou on a completely different wavelength. Walker looks disinterested, makes terrible runs, challenges for nothing. Staying in this league with our striking options this year will be a miracle.

Only chance we have is getting Godden fit ASAP

His work rate clearly worked in league 2 and league 1 but needs to get a lot fitter, stronger and quicker to make it as a championship striker. Biamou is miles ahead of him and that is saying something

He can finish when he can be bothered but really don't seem that bothered...our other options from the bench are not really options

We don’t play to his strengths at all. He’s a penalty box striker and we barely get the box.

We don't seem to play to any strengths.

There was a couple of times tonight (and other games) where we get within the penalty box/byline area and it hits the first defender for corner/clearance.

Don’t agree with the reasoning at all being said in here as to why he’s not good enough.

Not having the lazy argument and just because he’s not headless chickening it about doesn’t mean he doesn’t care. It’s not his game.

But with that being said, he’s not good enough at the moment.

You could say that about any player ffs.
Seems we need to attack a player every week.
Thing is we are not good enough they are generally doing their best but they are not good enough and the other side sit back and wait to pounce.
Borough never got out of first gear because they didnt need to.

It’s ironic because calling a player lazy is probably the laziest bit of football punditry around.

Sell him to Lincoln in the summer. I'll drive him to the medical

He was not good tonight but tbf to both him and Biamou the service into them was pretty shocking - Kelly's passing was woeful today, Hamer tried but at times got tackled by his own feet - O'Hare similar but him and Hamer the limited attacking threat we carried.

My theory is Biamou is used to shit service like that at non-league level so was better able to adapt than Walker who clearly struggled - the reality is that Aguero or Salah would have struggled to make much impact with the level of service Walker & Biamou got tonight!!

I thought he played well for the first quarter. Then just disappeared.

Really cannot wait for Godden to be back. I think he's our only hope.

He’s constantly moving you clown
You'd have to agree that biamou was the better of the 2 tonight... Neither of them seem capable of consistently creating space for themselves in dangerous areas to receive a ball

We cnat just keep blaming dabo, Sam, and o hare for not feeding them... It's easy to feed a player that makes it easy for you to feed really

Oh goody it's Tyler's turn tonight, must be running out of players to berate soon though, so will have to start all over.

He hasn’t played regular football since December 2019. He needs match sharpness.

Godden will be the same when he comes back. At least when the ball comes up to him he controls it and lays it off to a midfielder instead of trying to trap it and end up conceding a throw in.

It's more in hope than expectation to be honest.
It's not even hope, we know that he has intelligence, takes players away, and has great movement in and around the box., a good first touch and pass

We know this, it's already a couple of attributes more than what we currently play with

Godden back for reported last 10 games it’s gonna take him most of them
To get sharp

He was poor tonight but he's clearly a good player and scored at a better rate than Godden in L1 last year in a worse team (and was even out scoring Ivan Toney)
