Would love to see the hypocritical reaction of those who slagged him off last season who will now sit here hoping he returns. I'm indifferent personally, ok player but never thought he was as great as billed.

Maddison's okay, fans forget he was injured most of last season, thrust back into the first team a little too early in my opinion, sold and brought back and into a team struggling for results. I'd have any player better than we have and he is, just paper talk though imo

He's the best player this club has ever produced and he will go on to prove it.

I will raise you Danny Thomas

Maddison will go on to be better. Because he left the club the fans turn on him then bring up redundant points like "he wears a hair band" and he "dives" so what? He's an exceptional talent and he will go on to be a good premier league player.

Is that the best you can do ? Your arguing skills aren't very good are they , please try harder

Can I call you with Mark Hateley ?

Better than Willie Carr, Dennis Mortimor, Danny Thomas, Garry Thompson, Jeff Blockley, George Curtis, Mick Coop, Graham Paddon, Bobby Gould, Mick McGuire (all off the top of my head, sure there are a lot more) who all went on to have long top flight careers? (Exception perhaps George, but he did have 3 or 4 seasons even after his broken leg). I liked Maddison and feel he left far too early. However does not compare to any of the above in my opinion.

Carr and Mortimor regular top flight players by the age of 19. Maddison at the moment can't get into a second division side. Carr, a full Scottish international at a time when Scotland were good. Mortimor a swashbuckling captain of the Europeon champions (unfortunately not us) very unlucky not to play for England. At the moment I can't see that Maddison would have a top flight career.

Sadly it's likely that Maddison will never really have the chance to realise that promise if Norwich don't go up soon and he's not featuring in their Championship line up. He's too lightweight at lower levels and the refs are even worse so he won't get protection, so he could get kicked into obscurity before he makes it. I think we've had better players who have been proven at a higher level.

Stevenson's a better player, makes sense to develop him surely?

IF he was to join he'd play more advanced than Stevenson as part of the front three or in the '10' role Vlad played yesterday. Don't think he will be coming though.

I think to get the best from Maddison is he needs to play away from the front 3 to pick up the ball in space because when he is tightly marked he is too lightweight and gets knocked off the ball, hopefully Norwich will toughen him up and develop his game BUT atm I would rather have Stevenson for sure

Callum Wilson.

Maddison was overrated tosh. Why isn't he in Norwich's first team if he was any good?

Overrated tosh? He's a young fucking kid who had a bad injury. Why isn't he in Norwich's team, they have very good players and currently isn't at the level of the likes of Hoolahan and Naismith.
