Why would it bother wasps Ritchardson from the same mould as Joy neither want to give in neither care about the club they own.
Hopefully Wasps go pop and we win by default, only way I can see progress.
Their real problem is that the bubble has burst they now have a 32,000 seater stadium with a paying fanbase smaller then the City and half the amount of games.
How long can they carry on like that?

There are threads on the Wasps boards on about how they can keep the crowds, numbers are dropping.

Maybe a silly question but I will ask anyway, will help.

The NDA- what does it cover & when was it signed? If it just covers the indemnity then why did SISU sign it? I don’t understand why you’d sign an NDA about something that screws you over that you would want to tell the world about. If negotiations fell through then why would you sign it?

The purpose and the possibility of a successful outcome should surely trump any aversion to attending a Wasps game. Some tickets may be free, don’t buy anything inside. Not as if we would be paying attention to the game.

I hear you, I really do.

However, even the most staunch critics of the Trust voted that they wouldn’t go inside the stadium for a Wasps game.

The other issue here is; IF this REALLY is instigated by the Trust, do you honestly think they are, all of a sudden, going to do a 180 and properly GO AFTER Wasps?? Are they fuck.

The ONLY pertinent difference between the Trust of old and the Trust of today is:

The old Trust did what the fuck they wanted to.
The Trust of today (thanks to Pete and others on this forum) are being forced in to LOOKING LIKE they’re doing something.

But sadly, in reality, the outcome will be the same. A Trust with an agenda all of their own.

Another year away and what sort of shape would we be in? This seems to be an opportunity to get the issues raised. CT and CWR could hardly ignore the protest. You could be right and it could be futile. On the other hand it may be the catalyst. What is there to lose?

What have we to lose on a protest everything need a good turnout or it will be laughed at like so many were against sisu.
Agree the trust should help but who is taking any notice of them?

Still trying to come to terms with why would people want protest inside the ground?

Surely the last thing anyone wants to do is to give them an income stream.

It just seems a very double loaded thing to do in my opinion.

A few hundred tickets would be a drop in the ocean of their finances.Hopefully lots of free tickets obtained too.

Good points. City also seem to manage on fewer match attendances yet still retain a fan base at the moment. The rest of them are in Coventry. SISU are playing with fire. It will be harder to come back even when City is in the city.

Cmon guys. Whatever you tgink of the trust and I've been vocal about my views, this is an opportunity to get stuck into wasps. The trust might be offering a vehicle to get a protest going, once there and part of it they can't force their agenda on you. Plenty of ways to exercise our rights as part of a seemingly larger focus group. Get behind, support the Facebook frothers too, get outside tgere in as many numbers as we can ir we're showing them exactly what they already think of us that we're part of the problem. Demonstrate we're not, fk up a wasps game ideally, get stucj into the council and yes let SISU know we're not lying down for them either. Needs tobe a non city gsme day but lets see if ithas legs before we all dismiss it.

It has been spoken about lots of times on here that Wasps need to be the target at the moment as they are the obstacle to us playing in our home. A protest both inside and outside, providing it is backed by sufficient numbers could be the catalyst to them being forced to answer the questions about why we are being made to play in Birmingham. If the game chosen for the protest was on the TV even better. Imagine the racket that a few hundred City fans could make through out the eighty minutes and the publicity that would raise by having it broadcast nationwide. This is surely an effective way of getting to the media and putting Wasps in a hot spot. As for not going into a Wasps game, the purpose surely justifies being there.
It wouldn't receive sufficient media coverage I fear, in the same way as TV stations, in particular, won't show footage of disruption inside a stadium like they used to. Radio station might but will it really be big enough news ? What are our fans actually going to do inside the stadium . Sing songs ?

Stop them from getting near the Ricoh in the first place. I park my car off the foleshill road every game when city were at the Ricoh. If I couldn't park anywhere other than an official car park because wasps fans blocked the side roads I'd be pissed off.
We should do this to them.

Yes it is. It's not illegal to park your car in a side street an hour before a wasps game and then drive off an hour later. Easiest action possible with maximum inconvenience to them if enough people did it.

Im a bit confused. Dint the trust/board dismiss Twitter/online polls when Grendel did a load of them. But now its ok ?

Should the trust not be asking members what they think rather than the whole of twitter. As dint Neil say the trust doesn't represent fans only its members.

If there are that many free tickets washing around then why can’t we have a campaign of getting hold of them and the distribute them ahead of the game.... there are that many empty seats it want matter if we all joined together . I think it would be more impressive in the ground but not prepared to pay.
Maybe because I’m not in Cov but nobody ever offers me tickets for the Wasps!!!! I’m not feeling wanted at all by them

There needs to be some sort of truce here. It's just a massive "you said, he said" thing. I understand why but for the greater good...truce! Sit down, plan and go forward. Sooner the better.

There needs to be some kind of reality check here.

A protest involving going inside the stadium is flawed, as people that are as passionate as us WONT GO INSIDE. The Trust’s core has an agenda. And putting pressure on Wasps ISN’T IT.

Think about it ffs. Our latest attempt at reaching out to the Trust...

Neil goes totally awol, CJ turns up over a week later and posts polls on his PERSONAL Twitter. Meanwhile the official Trust account retweets accounts that protect Wasps & solely blame SISU. I hate to piss on your fireworks but CJ has arrived to make it LOOK like they want to do something.

My concern is that once again it's only CJ from his personal account... Nobody else from the Trust is remotely interested in how other fans feel (including Trust members).

CJ has spoken out against Wasps on here before but admitted there was no appetite from the rest of the Trust board to do so.

*Edit - US beat me to it!

Exactly, there always seems to be a contradiction from what CJ says to what the Trust say.

What do the Trust need to do to change where we are at now? If they put the statement out can everyone move forward together?

They need to remove divisive elements from the board open up the membership to a proper registration scheme with an annual payment and introduce an online system for transparent elections and voting.

I know you know but for the benefit of people that aren’t on Twitter....

I asked Neil, got towed along for a week, then put on ignore. Over a week passed and as we got irritated at the lack of follow up from Neil, CJ appears and starts doing polls from his personal Twitter account. During this, the Trust retweeted one of the accounts that’s been defending Wasps and attacking SISU. They frequently retweet these accounts, never retweeting anything that talks about putting pressure on Wasps regarding the indemnity.

Nothing has changed with the Trust.

Edit to add: Even CJ is choking on the concept of going after Wasps without having a pop at SISU too.

The indemnity and awareness of the fact that Wasps are not letting the club play in Coventry because of it ....is the only message that needs transmitted at the moment.
