Seemed a different player today, still not the answer but having beavon next to him worked. You could see them both talking and planning things and where to run.

Apart from that attempt to win a throw in by nailing it out of play.

I wondered what the hell Tudgay was doing when he hammered it out.

I thought he was trying to win a throw in off their player.

He was.

Regarding his better performance I'm sure he'd say for once he was being played in a more suitable formation.

Lost number of times I have said he one of our best options at the moment up front but only if played in a 2!
Think Sordell and Tudguy should have played a lot more games as a partnership and we should have played 4-4-2 long before today's game.

I think Beavon and Tudguy are our best front two at the club at present and yes would like to see us strengthen in this area.
Sure Slade has targets in mind hope not Jay Simpson as he is worse than either of the two we have currently.

They did keep talking, you could see them talking to others about where to put the ball as well.

I have some sympathy with Tudgay, a clever player who plays for the team and not for himself. On his rare appearances over last couple of seasons he has often scored or looked like scoring. His biggest problem has been lack of opportunity.

I am not saying he is the long term solution, he is not, but I do feel at times he has deserved more game time. It is hard to maintain form with 5 mins here, ten there then several weeks later the odd game.

I think both Tudgay and George Thomas both stepped up their games

Was chronically under used by Mowbray in favour of MAF but you have to wonder now if he's still got the legs to get into the positions in the box regularly. Maybe he's in for an Indian summer at the end of is career, if used correctly.

this will go for nearly the entire squad probably. players can be transformed by a different manager

i am sure agyei and even wright would have ende dup benefiting if they were perms. but as they loans its more worthwhile to get players in 100% to slades liking already

I've watched him 3 times this season, and while I didn't agree with him being jeered and booed off (forgot who against), he missed great chances in those games.

He is better in a two and I'm glad he had a better game. Would prefer some pace up top alongside Beavon now
