Two separate arguments.

The club has been positioning itself to keep control.

Meanwhile, the media strategy elsewhere seeks to position one sole alternative that is the only option.

Both stink.

Why are they so keen to retain control? It goes against what is inherently expected from a hedge fund which is to make a quick buck and leave. Put the whole lot up for sale and they will get some money back without having to go through this excruciating process.

It doesn't go against a hedge fund to want to recover some losses before leaving, and want to maximise the chances and amount of that recovery.

They will do that by putting the group up for sale. Hoffman's offer back in 2011 even gave the provision for more money to go their way once the club was successful-there really is no sense at all in the path they're pursuing at this moment in time.

Think Sisu's offer to Robinson was similar.

I'd want my jam today, not tomorrow to be honest.

Anyone would - but there is no rationale for "any jam" today.

I wonder if in years to come TF will look back on his "SISU won't sell because the business is at the bottom of its business cycle" comment, with just a touch of embarrassment.

Doubt it, Tommy. I don't think he EVER gets embarrassed.

I note with interest a statement on behalf of the Sky Blue Trust in the light of today's proceedings, which saw the CVA Proposals rejected.
However, as the Trust may recall, in a statement I made on May 24 - which is a matter of public record - I made it clear that, as a result of my investigations, I believed the "Share" in the Football League lay within CCFC Limited.

I agree it shouldn't just be handed back, but wouldn't the other parties have to show they had players, training grounds, academys etc?

They will give it to Otium, it has all of the things you mentioned plus the FA, FL, other clubs have payed grants, transfer funds into it, plus they can prove that SBS&L and Holdings have provided the funding for the club.

All worth bugger all without the hearts and minds of the fans.

The FL have consistently attempted to make the decision with the least potential consiquences for them, despite what that means for the 130 year old institution and its dedicated and loyal fans. They are the most spineless organisation I have ever seen, acting with less integrity than SISU themselves. They are the body here to protect us when the truth of the matter is they've done nothing. The actions of SISU are paramount to neglect and abuse in favour of a STILL unknown objective. The actions of ACL have been that of gross incompetence and greed whilst the Football League have indited such a massive injustice so that their birthday year runs with as little inconvenience to them as possible.

They are surely hiding something sinister, otherwise why have they not fought for us?
